Data Engineer

At Ryz Labs we are looking for a
Senior Data Engineer
to join one of our clients' teams, a growing technology team building data products for the music and entertainment industry. You will work with large-scale datasets and help design reliable data infrastructure that turns complex data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize ETL/data pipelines processing millions of records daily
• Design scalable data ingestion systems integrating streaming platforms, social media, and other data sources
• Architect and maintain cloud-based data infrastructure
• Develop production-ready Python applications and complex PostgreSQL queries
• Work with technologies such as AWS, Snowflake, ClickHouse, Elasticsearch, Spark, and Airflow
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and other teams to transform raw data into useful business insights
• Improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of existing data systems

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building and maintaining production data systems
• Strong experience with Python and PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow, ClickHouse, Snowflake, Elasticsearch, Apache Spark, and AWS
• Experience designing high-throughput, fault-tolerant data pipelines
• Ability to work with large-scale datasets and distributed systems
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
