The IT Engineer is responsible for the complete functional integration of the solution (software and hardware tools). In doing so, he/she performs the following tasks:

Developing the operating environment for the products created by the product teams and working out the integration strategy for the complete solution to be delivered, considering the complexity of the system, the deadlines, and the expected quality.

Fully executing tasks, involving colleagues or external partners as necessary, at the Budapest site or other locations (abroad).

You will also perform the above tasks in relation to the basic system test environments and during customer-specific deliveries. In the latter case, you will work closely with the customer and hold on-site meetings.

Participation in meetings and training sessions at the Budapest site or other locations (abroad).

In connection with the above integration tasks, the IT Engineer participates in the following tasks:

Participation in the design of the complete solution in accordance with company methodology, primarily in the following areas: Requirements analysis, acceptance criteria for system-level functions, physical architecture.

Participation in the testing process.

Participation in the design of the overall system validation platform.

Participation in the end-to-end system validation.

Participation in product support.

Mandatory skills

Extensive system architecture and administration knowledge.

Basic knowledge and experience in the below areas is required, advanced knowledge in any of them is a significant advantage:

Linux and VMWare knowledge

Rocky Linux and RedHat installation, configuration, replication, backup, disaster recovery

Load balancing, reverse proxying, Nginx Ansible

Working knowledge of JAVA application servers like Springboot is required

Database servers in general, and more specifically with PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB

Host based networking (Firewall, DNS, SSH tunneling)

Nice to have:

Network design, switch and router management

Comfortable with security concepts and design; network zoning, policies, encryption, key and certificate management

Devops knowledge, K8s, Azure technologies

Knowledge of Hadoop is a significant advantage
