Senior Platform Engineer

• We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer to drive the design, evolution, and reliability of our platform ecosystem. In this role, you will take ownership of technical decisions , guide architectural direction, and coordinate technical work across engineering teams to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.

You will act as a bridge between engineering, product, and operations, balancing hands-on engineering with technical leadership and collaboration .

Your role:

Technical Leadership & Decision-Making

* Own and drive **architecture and design decisions** for platform services and infrastructure.
* Define and enforce **engineering standards, best practices, and design patterns** .
* Evaluate and select technologies, tools, and frameworks aligned with business goals.
* Provide **technical guidance and mentorship** to engineers across the team.
* Lead design reviews and ensure solutions meet **scalability, performance, and reliability** requirements.**Team Coordination \& Delivery**


* Coordinate technical tasks across multiple engineers and teams to ensure **consistent progress and alignment** .
* Break down high\-level initiatives into **actionable engineering work items** .
* Act as a **technical point of contact** for cross\-team initiatives and dependencies.
* Facilitate collaboration between development, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
* Support delivery planning and help remove **technical blockers** .**Platform Engineering \& Operations**


* Design and maintain robust **platform infrastructure (cloud, on\-prem, hybrid)** .
* Build and improve **CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks** .
* Ensure high availability, observability, and performance of platform services.
* Drive **infrastructure\-as\-code (IaC)** and configuration management adoption.
* Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.**Reliability, Security \& Compliance**


* Ensure systems meet **security, compliance, and governance** standards.
* Champion **SRE principles** including SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets.
* Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement after incidents.
* Improve system resilience and disaster recovery capabilities.**Your Background:**


* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* 5–10\+ years of experience in **platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles** .
* Proven experience in **making and owning architectural decisions** .
* Strong proficiency in **cloud platforms** (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
* Experience with:



	+ Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
	+ Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, etc.)
	+ CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
* Strong scripting or programming skills (Python, Go, Bash, etc.).
