Back-End Developer

Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 17:00

We are looking to hire a new Junior Backend Developer to join our team. As a backend developer, you will primarily work with PHP and Python to develop and maintain the server-side components of our web applications. You will have the opportunity to work with a rapidly growing team with challenging problems to solve at a large scale. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side components using PHP.
• Develop and maintain data manipulating scripts using Python.
• Develop Wordpress Plugins improving certain needs.
• Collaborate with the frontend development team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Build performance optimized solutions to different problems that require high scalability.
• Be conscious about code structure.
• Swiftly respond to technical issues that may arise in the backend.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies relevant to backend development.
• Support and maintain existing applications, including bug fixing and performance improvements.

Technical skills

Strong knowledge of PHP and Python programming languages.

Understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

Experience with Laravel (PHP).

Experience with database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL.

Proficient in VCS and CI/CD.

Basic knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to learn new technologies as needed.
