Skills, knowledge, experience required:
- Experience in PKI operations;
- Experience in the operations and maintenance of security monitoring platforms (Splunk, Sentinel, Darktrace);
- Experience in operations of risk-based vulnerability management services (with Tenable), including penetration testing coordination;
- Experience in deploying and managing PAM platforms;
- Experience in application security testing with Checkmarx SAST and DAST;
- Experience in implementing controls aligned with Zero Trust Architecture;
- At least 3 certifications required:
- GCED (GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender) or equivalent
- GPPA (GIAC Certified Perimeter Protection Analyst) or equivalent
- GCWN (GIAC Certified Windows Security Administrator) or equivalent
- GCUX (GIAC Certified UNIX Security Administrator) or equivalent
- GCCC (GIAC Certified Critical Controls) or equivalent
- SSCP ((ISC)² Certified Systems Security Practitioner) or equivalent
- CCSP (ISC² Certified Cloud Security Professional) or equivalent
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or equivalent
- CSSLP (ISC² Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional) or equivalent
- GSEC (GIAC Certified Security Essentials) or equivalent
- ECSA (EC-Council Certified Security Analyst) or equivalent
- SCPO (SABSA Certified Security Operations & Service Management Practitioner) or equivalent
- Completed Bachelor's degree studies or at least 3 years of higher education, evidenced by an awarded diploma (Education Level 6);
- English language proficiency, evidenced by a certificate issued by a recognized certification body.
Duties/role:
- Providing cybersecurity-related support to users and/or customers;
- Integrating cybersecurity solutions and ensuring their sound operation;
- Securely configuring systems, services, and/or products;
- Maintaining and upgrading the security of systems, services, and/or products;
- Implementing cybersecurity procedures and controls;
- Monitoring and assuring the performance of implemented cybersecurity controls;
- Documenting and reporting on the security of systems, services, and/or products;
- Working closely with IT personnel on cybersecurity-related actions;
- Implementing, applying, and managing patches to products to address technical vulnerabilities;
- Providing support in defining, designing, and implementing security related to IT systems;
- Assisting in supporting security technologies such as user access, Internet filtering, email security, antivirus, data loss protection, document management, forensics, vulnerability assessments, collaboration technologies, mobile platforms, and cloud security;
- Actively participating in information security reviews and audits;
- Updating technical documentation and operating procedures;
- Monitoring security systems and responding to events and alerts;
- Recommending and evaluating security tools to identify improvements in security measures;
- Implementing security-related changes according to ICT change management procedures;
- Designing, developing, installing, configuring, testing, monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading cybersecurity infrastructure;
- Providing expertise, guidance, recommendations, and documented security configurations for implementing security tools and processes;
- Evaluating and recommending secure configurations;
- Identifying security requirements based upon needs or translating high-level security requirements into detailed technical requirements;
- Supporting various technical and non-technical stakeholders in specifying and negotiating security requirements;
- Interacting with network and system engineering teams to effectively communicate and develop security solutions;
- Drafting documentation and standard operating procedures to support security systems operations;
- Ensuring technical design and contributing to the implementation of new components and/or enhancements in coordination with project managers, security architects, engineers, and other team members;
- Ensuring service continuity for managed components in accordance with defined SLAs;
- Investigating, diagnosing, and solving cybersecurity system-related problems;
- Diagnosing and solving problems and faults occurring in the operation of cybersecurity components;
- Documenting cybersecurity component configurations.
