Experienced Embedded Linux Software Developer

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in our instrumentation product development from ideation to deployment for emissions measurement device development

Understanding the measurement principle and how end users will use the measurement devices based on Product requirement inputs

Being a member of the Hungarian development team, and collaborate with the international agile project team (Scrum)

Design, implementation and testing of embedded Linux system based measurement device platform

System configuration and integration of embedded systems

Documentation of the system components

REQUIREMENTS

University degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Electrical Engineering

In-depth knowledge of C/C++ and experience in Linux-based embedded software development on modern ARM architectures (NXP i.MX8 and Xilinx UltraScale SoCs)

Experience with the Yocto Project or similar embedded Linux build systems

Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, EtherCAT)

Understanding of U-Boot and the Linux kernel is highly beneficial

Experience with CI/CD (e.g., Azure DevOps), containerization, and automated testing is an advantage

Fluency in written and spoken English (German is an advantage)

Open to agile development methods, with good communication and presentation skills and a strong team-player mindset

Willingness to travel to the Graz headquarters a few times a year
