A World-Changing Company
At AICONIC we believe that radical transparency and algorithmic decision making is the future. We're passionate about building software that solves real problems. We partner with the most important companies and institutions in the world to transform how they use data and technology — clients like Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, UEFA and many others.
Now we're taking the next step: teaching AI to build frontends. We're looking for a Frontend Architect who will design the architecture of our next-generation frontend and lead the development of an AI agent that generates production-quality UI. You won't just write components — you'll define the standards, patterns and guardrails that both humans and AI agents will follow.
Technologies We Use
React + TypeScript as the core of our new frontend stack
Modern AI UI tooling — the choice of specific frameworks and libraries will be yours to make as the architect
Ant Design as a reusable frontend component library
Distributed systems technologies such as FastAPI and GraphQL
Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
Industry-standard build tooling, including GitHub and CI/CD pipelines
A combination of open-source and internal technologies that suit the problem at hand
The Role
Designing the target frontend architecture for the AICONIC A1 Platform — component model, design system usage, state management, testing strategy and performance budgets
Leading the development of an AI agent that generates frontend code: choosing the tooling, defining its architecture, the component and pattern library it builds from, and the review process that keeps its output production-quality
Building interactive, data-intensive workflow UIs and conversational/generative interfaces on top of high-scale APIs
Establishing frontend standards, shared tooling and code-generation guardrails used by teams across AICONIC
Mentoring engineers and reviewing both human-written and AI-generated code
Making technical concepts accessible to non-technical users, including low-code/no-code and WYSIWYG experiences
Engaging with signal directly from our forward deployed engineers and deployment strategists to rapidly evolve the product to meet real-world requirements
Our Proposal
Work from anywhere (home, office, etc.)
15,000–30,000 PLN/month + VAT on a B2B contract
26 days of paid holidays + an equivalent of public holidays in Poland
Additional benefits tailored to your needs (we do not follow a one-size-fits-all approach)
Startup atmosphere: less documentation and fewer rules, we are open to experimenting and learning
Never alone in a project — always at least 2 people together
A very good place for people who are passionate about data and AI
What Is Required
5+ years of frontend software engineering experience, with strong recent experience in React and TypeScript
Proven experience designing frontend architecture for complex applications (not just implementing features)
Hands-on experience with LLM-powered development — AI coding assistants, code generation, or building AI-driven product features — and a clear point of view on where AI-generated code needs human guardrails
Experience working with design systems such as Ant Design, Material UI, or similar
Experience crafting complex user experiences with a strong intuition for good design and usability
Familiarity with data structures, loading patterns and how web technologies work under the hood
Strong written and verbal communication skills — you'll be setting standards others follow
Nice to Have
Experience building AI-powered interfaces (chat, generative UI, streaming) with any modern AI UI framework
Experience with GraphQL and data-intensive applications
Prior experience leading or mentoring a frontend team
Recruitment Process
Screening call
Tech interview
Home assignment — design a slice of frontend architecture and show how you'd get an AI agent to build within it
