We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer:

Project Description:

The project focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native data engineering solutions supporting compliance and risk management initiatives.

Hard Skills / Must Have:

  • 5+ years of experience building and supporting ETL solutions using cloud-native services.
  • Experience developing data integration pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with Python and PySpark.
  • Advanced PL/SQL and complex query optimization.
  • Experience with CloudFormation and Terraform.
  • Experience implementing monitoring and alerting for ETL processes.
  • Experience working with cloud storage and data validation solutions.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Experience with BI systems (PowerBI, Tableau).
  • Understanding of AWS services like S3, SNS, Secret Manager, Athena, and Lambda.
  • Experience with version control and project management tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient cloud-based data pipelines.
  • Develop and support ETL/ELT processes for data integration and transformation.
  • Ensure compliance with information security and data governance standards.
  • Maintain and enhance cloud data environments, including data lakes and data warehouses.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams, product teams, and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to technical research, continuous improvement, and adoption of new technologies.
  • Maintain code quality using version control systems and CI/CD practices.
  • Support the strategic evolution of data engineering solutions and infrastructure.

Interview stages:

  • English check (15 minutes)
  • internal technical interview (1-1,5 hour)
  • client interview (1 hour)

Additional notes:

The candidate must be employed in our company at 0.125 FTE under UoP (employment contract) and additionally under a service contract (B2B or mandate contract). Payment terms - up to 60 days. Work will be performed using client-provided equipment.
