A fast-growing technology company building large-scale public data infrastructure. Its data pipelines collect, structure, and deliver high-volume public web data for organizations operating in cybersecurity, public safety, and digital risk protection.
As part of an expanding R&D organization, the company is building Kraków into a key engineering hub focused on core systems, innovation, and future growth.
Position Overview
We are looking for a
Senior DevOps Engineer
to join the infrastructure team and help design, scale, and optimize high-volume cloud systems.
You will work closely with engineering leadership on advanced infrastructure initiatives, including cloud architecture, Kubernetes migration, automation, CI/CD, reliability, and production operations.
Responsibilities
- Support the migration from ECS Fargate to Kubernetes (EKS).
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and OpenTofu.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Manage and optimize high-volume AWS infrastructure.
- Improve system reliability, observability, security, and scalability.
- Support data-intensive infrastructure and production environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of DevOps, Infrastructure, or Cloud Engineering experience.
- Advanced hands-on experience with AWS.
- Strong production experience with Kubernetes/EKS.
- Expert-level experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Docker/ECS and CI/CD pipelines.
- Scripting or programming experience with Python, Go, or TypeScript, plus Bash.
- Strong understanding of monitoring, observability, and production reliability.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience leading an ECS-to-Kubernetes migration.
- Experience with Karpenter, ArgoCD/Flux, KEDA, or VPC CNI.
- Experience with ClickHouse or ScyllaDB.
Please note: This role requires working onsite in Kraków 3 days per week.
