Senior QA Engineer

Senior QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Supporting API testing activities (review and write)
• Cooperating closely with Business Analysts and Product Owners to understand requirements and define test coverage
• Supporting manual testing (~30%)
• Working effectively in a Scrum team and contributing to agile ceremonies

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience (minimum 3 years) with test automation tools: Playwright + Typescript (or JavaScript), Cucumber with Java (for API testing)
• Experience working with JIRA and qTest
• Knowledge of GIT or other version control systems (e.g. Bitbucket)
• Very good communication skills and ability to collaborate across roles (developers, analysts, Product Owners)
• Ability to identify, reproduce, and clearly document defects
• Ability to challenge assumptions and uncover edge cases
• Solid understanding of frontend testing and the test pyramid
• Proven track record of working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
• Analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem-solving
• Proactive attitude and ownership of assigned tasks
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Nice to have:

• Experience with JavaScript and Cypress in writing automated test cases
• Experience with Selenium in writing automated test cases
• Experience with RestAssured in writing automated API test cases
