About The Role
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our SDM (Supplier Data Manager) team, which owns the core of Akeneo’s Product Cloud for data management. This role involves developing and delivering end-to-end features that enhance our data processing pipelines, which convert complex and voluminous supplier data into trusted catalog information. The ideal candidate will work on building reliable data pipelines that handle various data formats, incorporate AI models such as LLMs for attribute extraction and classification, and optimize system performance at scale. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, participate in customer discovery to understand real-world use cases, and contribute to the broader platform ecosystem. As you grow in this role, you will take on more ownership, from development and deployment to monitoring and support, with the opportunity to evolve into a senior engineering position. This is an excellent chance to work on impactful projects that solve real industry problems, leveraging cutting-edge AI tools and scalable architectures.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for debugging and troubleshooting
- Ability to work across the full stack, with a willingness to learn new technologies
- Experience with AI or machine learning models is advantageous but not mandatory
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric mindset
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and take ownership of tasks
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy features across the SDM platform, including backend data pipelines and frontend interfaces
- Contribute to building reliable, scalable data processing systems that handle large, complex supplier data sets

- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and collaborative problem-solving sessions
- Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to ensure high availability and accuracy
- Engage in customer discovery activities to understand user needs and incorporate feedback into development cycles
- Collaborate with cross-team stakeholders within the Product Cloud ecosystem to ensure seamless integration
- Document technical solutions and contribute to best practices and internal knowledge sharing
- Support the team through rotational support duties, ensuring ongoing system stability
- Continuously learn and adapt to new AI tools, technologies, and industry trends to enhance system capabilities
