6935 Senior Software Engineer - Java / Springboot

We are looking for a
Senior Software Engineer (API)
with extensive experience in
Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices
to join a team responsible for designing, developing, and supporting client-facing applications and services

The ideal candidate is a hands-on senior engineer with strong enterprise software development experience, solid API and microservices expertise, and exposure to
AI-powered applications, intelligent automation, or Generative AI solutions
.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable software features and services.
• Design, build, and maintain
  REST APIs
  .
• Develop enterprise applications using
  Java and Spring Boot
  .
• Work with modern
  microservices-based architectures
  .
• Apply software engineering best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, and peer programming.
• Translate customer and business requirements into technical designs.
• Collaborate with architects and engineering teams on software design and architecture.
• Balance new feature development, defect resolution, and technical debt.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to build and maintain
  CI/CD pipelines
  .
• Apply API management concepts and work with tools such as
  APIM
  .
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including story refinement.
• Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools such as
  GitHub Copilot and Claude Code
  to accelerate development and improve code quality.
• Contribute to AI-powered applications, intelligent automation solutions, or Generative AI-enabled products.

Requisitos

Required Qualifications

• 8–12 years of professional software development experience
  , with a strong background in enterprise applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with
  Java 8/11/17+
  .
• Strong professional experience with
  Spring Boot
  .
• Hands-on experience with
  Spring MVC and Spring Security
  .
• Strong experience designing and developing
  REST APIs
  .
• Solid experience with
  Microservices Architecture
  .
• Understanding of API management concepts and platforms such as
  APIM
  .
• Experience with software engineering best practices, including unit testing and code reviews.
• Experience working with
  CI/CD and DevOps teams
  .
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Advanced English (B2+/C1)
  for collaboration with international teams.

Professional experience in at least one of the following areas is highly relevant:

• AI-powered software applications.
• Generative AI / LLM-enabled products.
• Intelligent automation solutions.
• Integration of AI capabilities or APIs into enterprise applications.
