We are seeking an experienced Solution Design Lead, who will support analysis of new solutions with technical expertise within domain / platform architecture in Service Business Solutions Team in close collaboration with business partners and various IT teams.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Partner with the Technical Architects and Enterprise Architects to define and continuously evolve the end-to-end solution and platform/s strategy, ensuring alignment between business objectives, processes, and technology capabilities.
• Support the Program Manager by translating complex business demands into fit-for-purpose solution designs, evaluating functional, architectural, and integration implications.
• Lead the solution design and option assessment activities, recommending optimal solutions across Salesforce, SAP (S/4HANA), MuleSoft, AI-based solutions, and cloud-native architectures.
• Identify and assess new tools, platforms, and technologies to address emerging or unique business requirements within the Service IT landscape.
• Support commercial and delivery decisions by evaluating supplier proposals, solution architectures, and delivery approaches, recommending the most effective way forward.
• Own and maintain the overall solution architecture, application landscape, and future-state integration blueprint for Business Process Solutions within the IT landscape.
• Review and validate supplier deliverables against business requirements, functional design, and architectural expectations, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Actively contribute to innovation and proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives, working hands-on with architects and developers to validate new concepts and emerging technologies.
• Act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and IT, leveraging strong integration knowledge and stakeholder management skills.

Your Background

• 10+ years of experience in solution, application, or platform architecture within large enterprise environments.
• Strong business process knowledge in at least two or more of the following areas: Installed Base Management, Field Service Management, Asset Performance Management, Tools Management, Customer Portal, Sites Management.
• Hands-on experience in ecosystems involving Salesforce, SAP S/4HANA, MuleSoft, and cloud-based integrations. Strong understanding of integration patterns, API-led architectures, and event-driven solutions.
• Experience leading or strongly influencing technical teams, or deep development background (5+ years) with readiness for solution ownership.
• Solid technical foundation, ideally with exposure to .NET/C#, SQL, JavaScript, integration layers, DevOps tooling and practices, including code repositories, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps).

Requirements:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or SRE role
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, including: VPC, EC2, EKS, S3, ECR, EBS, RDS, ElastiCache, IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, SSM Parameter Store, CloudWatch, MSK, SNS, SQS, Route 53, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, and ELB/ALB/NLB
• Solid Linux administration skills with deep understanding of system internals
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, including bare-metal cluster deployment and day-2 operations. Proficiency with Docker and Helm
• Hands-on experience with Terraform as a primary Infrastructure as Code tool — writing, reviewing, and maintaining production-grade modules
• Proven experience with GitLab CI for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines; familiarity with GitOps practices using FluxCD or ArgoCD

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain internal tools, APIs, AI-driven automation workflows, and system integrations that improve operational efficiency across Capital.com. The role is strongly focused on building practical AI solutions, including AI agents, agent workflows, automated decision-support flows, and integrations with internal and external systems.

You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Security, Operations, Compliance, Finance, and other business teams to deliver secure, reliable high-quality software that supports internal workflows, data integration, and emerging AI-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

to own the security of how artificial intelligence is adopted and operated across Capital.com.

AI tools are already embedded in how the company works — and the security risks they introduce are unlike those any other team currently owns. This role sits in Corporate Security and is responsible for AI system integration security, AI-specific threat detection, data protection in AI contexts, shadow AI governance, and the regulatory compliance obligations that AI adoption brings with it.

The ideal candidate understands how LLMs, RAG systems, and AI automation tools actually work — and can apply that understanding to evaluate what risks they introduce, design controls that hold, and build the governance framework that makes AI adoption secure and auditable in a regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities:
AI/ML Security — Integrations & Environment:

• Review and assess the security of AI system integrations across the corporate environment: LLM deployments, RAG pipelines, AI APIs, and AI-enabled automation tools
• Evaluate configuration, access controls, and data flows of AI systems — the security of how AI is deployed and connected to corporate data and infrastructure
• Conduct threat modelling for AI integrations and define secure deployment patterns for AI-powered tools
• Support security reviews for new AI initiatives, tools, and vendor integrations before they reach production

AI Threat Detection & Mitigation:

AI Tool Risk & Shadow AI:

• Operate the controls that govern AI tool use across the organisation — detection policies, sanctioned-tool enforcement, share-link and egress controls
• Lead third-party AI tool due diligence and ongoing assurance of AI vendor integrations
• Monitor AI tool usage patterns and investigate anomalous behaviour
• Contribute to AI security standards, internal policies, and the company's AI risk classification framework

Compliance & Governance:

• Own the AI security governance framework: policy authoring, risk classification, control design, and regulatory mapping
• Maintain the AI risk register and report on AI-related risk posture to management
• Map AI security controls against applicable regulatory frameworks: EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, GDPR, and financial-sector requirements across FCA, CySEC, ASIC, SCB, and SCA jurisdictions
• Participate in audit cycles; provide technical evidence and explain AI control design to auditors and regulators

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on experience in AI/ML system security or a strong AI security focus;
• Deep knowledge of AI-specific security risks and mitigations: prompt injection, model poisoning, data leakage, adversarial attacks, excessive permissions in AI agents;
• Hands-on experience securing LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, and AI APIs — reviewing configurations, access controls, and data flows;
• Experience authoring AI security policies, standards, and risk classification frameworks;
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks: EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and their application in a regulated financial services context;
