• Du verfügst über eine abgeschlossene Grundausbildung als Informatiker EFZ oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation sowie mindestens sieben Jahre Berufserfahrung im Enterprise-Umfeld, davon mehrere Jahre in einer technisch verantwortlichen System-Engineering-Funktion. Reine Support-, Administrations- oder Workplace-Erfahrung reicht für diese Position nicht aus.
• Deine Schwerpunkte liegen in Microsoft Windows-Server-Infrastrukturen, Microsoft 365 sowie Identity & Access Management. Du bringst fundierte praktische Erfahrung mit mehreren der folgenden Technologien mit: Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory, Entra, ADFS und DNS.
• Mit PowerShell und GitLab automatisierst und standardisierst du wiederkehrende Aufgaben und Prozesse. Zudem hast du Erfahrungen mit Update-Management-Systemen wie Ivanti oder vergleichbaren Anwendungen und kennst dich mit Monitoringlösungen wie z.B. PRTG bestens aus.
• ITIL und ein dazugehöriges ITSM Tool gehören zu deiner Arbeitsweise.
• Du verfügst über ein ausgeprägtes Security Mindset und beurteilst neue Technologien fundiert hinsichtlich Nutzen, Risiken, Abhängigkeiten und Integrationsaufwand.
• Du arbeitest selbständig, lösungs- und kundenorientiert, übernimmst Verantwortung und kannst komplexe technische Sachverhalte adressatengerecht vermitteln und fachliche Einschätzungen nachvollziehbar vertreten.

Deine Energie

• Du übernimmst Engineering-Aufgaben und stellst einen stabilen operativen Betrieb sicher. Dabei führst du 3rd Level Troubleshooting durch, analysierst Störungen mittels Root Cause Analysen, optimierst die Performance und übernimmst bei komplexen, systemübergreifenden Problemstellungen die technische Verantwortung bis zur nachhaltigen Lösung.
• Die Weiterentwicklung unserer Infrastruktur treibst du aktiv voran. Du modernisierst bestehende Systeme, evaluierst neue Technologien und gestaltest zukunftsfähige Architekturentscheidungen mit. Dein Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auf Microsoft-basierten Enterprise-Infrastrukturen.
• Bei Changes und Migrationen übernimmst du die technische Leitung. Du planst die Umsetzung selbständig, beurteilst Auswirkungen und Abhängigkeiten, koordinierst die beteiligten Fachstellen und stellst eine kontrollierte Inbetriebnahme sicher.
• Du erstellst und aktualisierst Lösungskonzepte, Systemarchitekturen und technische Dokumentationen. Dazu gehören nachvollziehbare technische Konzepte, Entscheidungsgrundlagen, Betriebsdokumentationen und Architekturübersichten für interne und externe Fachpersonen.
• In Projekten und Teilprojekten übernimmst du Verantwortung für technische Arbeitspakete und führst diese von der Konzeption über Umsetzung und Testing bis zur Übergabe in den Betrieb und zur Schulung technischer Fachpersonen zielgerichtet zum Abschluss.
• Zudem wirkst du bei der Definition und Weiterentwicklung von technischen Standards, Betriebsmodellen, Sicherheitsvorgaben und Lifecycle-Entscheidungen mit.

Your challenge

We are looking for an IT Security Engineer to help protect and further develop our applications, cloud services, infrastructure and workplace environments. This role combines hands-on security engineering with consulting, automation and the use of AI to make security smarter, faster and more scalable.

You will work with architects, engineers, developers, risk functions and business teams to turn security requirements into practical solutions that work in real life — not just on paper.

• Advise project, product and platform teams on secure architecture, design and implementation
• Perform security-by-design reviews for applications, cloud services and critical systems
• Design, implement, and continuously enhance security controls across firewall, secure web access, VPN, endpoint, DLP, PAM, cloud security, and identity, while ensuring their reliable operation as part of a DevOps delivery model
• Support evaluations, PoCs and rollouts of new security products and services
• Use automation, scripting and AI-enabled tools to improve recurring security processes, analysis, documentation and control effectiveness
• Contribute to security standards, policies, KPIs, reporting and risk-based decision-making
• Support incident handling, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis where security engineering expertise is needed
• Work closely with infrastructure, development, operations, governance and risk teams

Your profile

• Several years of experience in IT security engineering or cloud security.
• Strong knowledge in at least two areas such as network security, endpoint security, Azure / M365 security, identity and access management, SIEM / SOAR, incident handling or security automation
• Practical experience with security technologies such as Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Purview, DLP, PAM, firewall or secure access solutions
• Experience with scripting or automation, for example PowerShell, Python, Golang or similar
• Good understanding of security-by-design, risk-based decision-making and common frameworks such as ISO 2700x or NIST
• Structured, reliable and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong communication skills and the ability to make security understandable and actionable
• Very good English skills; German is an advantage
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call duty

Nice to Have

• Experience in regulated environments or financial services
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, AZ-500 or SC-100

NVIDIA is looking for an experienced HPC-AI Engineer to join the Networking Clusters Solutions Infrastructure team. we are focused on building supercomputers and AI clusters based on groundbreaking technologies. We are looking for an outstanding engineer, be a key player to the most exciting computing hardware and software to contribute to the latest breakthroughs in artificial intelligence and GPU computing. Provide insights on at-scale system design and tuning mechanisms for large-scale compute runs. You will work with the latest Accelerated computing and Deep Learning software and hardware platforms, and with many scientific researchers, developers, and customers to craft improved workflows and develop new, leading differentiated solutions. You will interact with HPC, OS, GPU compute, and systems specialist to architect, develop and bring up large scale performance platforms.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design, implement and maintain large scale HPC/AI clusters with monitoring, logging and alerting
• Manage Linux job/workload schedules and orchestration tools
• Develop and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines
• Develop tooling to automate deployment and management of large-scale infrastructure environments, to automate operational monitoring and alerting, and to enable self-service consumption of resources
• Deploy monitoring solutions for the servers, network and storage
• Perform troubleshooting bottom up from bare metal, operating system, software stack and application level
• Being a technical resource, develop, re-define and document standard methodologies to share with internal teams
• Support Research & Development activities and engage in POCs/POVs for future improvements

What We Need To See

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 8+ years of experience
• Knowledge of HPC and AI solution technologies from CPU’s and GPU’s to high speed interconnects and supporting software
• Experience with job scheduling workloads and orchestration tools such as Slurm, K8s
• Excellent knowledge of Windows and Linux (Redhat/CentOS and Ubuntu) networking (sockets, firewalld, iptables, wireshark, etc.) and internals, ACLs and OS level security protection and common protocols e.g. TCP, DHCP, DNS, etc.
• Experience with multiple storage solutions such as Lustre, GPFS, Weka.io. Familiarity with newer and emerging storage technologies.
• Python programming and bash scripting experience.
• Comfortable with automation and configuration management tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet/chef
• Deep knowledge of Networking Protocols like InfiniBand, Ethernet
• Deep understanding and experience with virtual systems (for example VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, or Citrix)
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
