You will join our team FCP KYC (Financial Crime Prevention - Know Your Costumer & Fraud Prevention) in Financial Crime Prevention Domain. The team develops and maintain our solutions to support our respective banks in their effort to prevent financial crime and terror financing. The team area of responsibility is centered around the risk scoring of costumers and the knowledge about the costumer and the system to support the processes to gather and analyses data. The senior Cobol engineer is a crucial part of our agile team, and you will be a part of a full stack delivery team with 2 other Cobol engineers, 4 Java engineer, 1 Subject matter expert and 3 Business analysts. All supported by a Scrum master, Product owner and a development manager. The team is located both in Denmark and Poland, and you will be meet in the office by 8 other team members in Warsaw.

As a senior Cobol engineer in the team you will be challenged by both supporting our current solutions but also being a central part in our future development of our systems in the team. We are focused on value creation for our customers and continuously adding functionality to existing systems as well as providing new solutions to assist our banks preventive measures towards money laundry and terror financing. The focus is to deliver the AMLA package, enhancing our products to meet the new legislation requirements, and your role will play a crucial role in this delivery.

Your direct manager will be Lars Simmelsgaard .

Primary task and responsibilities include:

  • Enhance our systems to support the AMLA regulation.
  • Proactive maintenance of the systems under team support, in close collaboration with our Java developers and Business analysts.
  • Ad hoc handling of any incidents reported by our customers, to ensure stable operations of the systems to our costumer.
  • Processing of bank requirements together with business analysts to transform customer requirements into feasible development tasks.
  • You will work with all the roles in the team, from Business analysts, Java developer, and Product Owner to solve and develop our systems. We have a close collaboration with the other 4 teams in our Domain.
  • The team is in both Denmark and Poland and we meet up physically 1-2 times a year. Given development tasks can request your presence in Denmark besides the full team gatherings.

To succeed you will have:

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in mainframe development and various languages such as Cobol / CICS or PL/1 from the financial sector, telecom, pharma, or similar
  • Experience with working with DB2, IDz/RDz, JCL, TSO & OPC. We don’t require extensive experience on all of the above, but rather an interest in learning about these tools and how to utilize them.
  • A curious mind with an open nature and desire to knowledge-share with others.
  • A desire to learn new things and to improve continuously.
  • An urge to ensure a stable and safe system. Take pride in our solutions and acknowledge the beauty in resilient code.
  • Experienced in working in an agile team, and to participate actively in the agile events.
  • To master English fluently both spoken and written, and not be afraid to interact across borders with team member in Denmark.

It’s nice-to-have:

  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence, while we uses these product heavily for our documentation and agile planning.
  • Knowledge of Kafka and/or OpenShift Container Platform.

We are currently recruiting a
Principal Engineer - Flood Modeling
with experience in flood modelling and flood risk assessments, to join our busy and expanding experienced team. The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of projects. Our clients work for private and public sectors and include long term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors. Our group has an established track record of successfully delivering water designs for many years, throughout UK&I, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand among others. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation and Water projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural team for Enterprise Capabilities.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Technical Expert: Lead the estimation of flood flows using established methodologies in the Flood Estimations Handbook. Develop and check hydraulic models (using packages such as Flood Modeller, TUFLOW, HEC-RAS and InfoWorks ICM) to assist the design of flood alleviation schemes, flood risk assessments, river restoration projects or the creation of flood maps.
  • Deliver: Produce and review high-quality technical reports documenting model build and uncertainties in the model build process. Conceptualise and scope modelling and hydrological approaches, with consideration of the risks and opportunities in each.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with our teams of engineers and technical specialists to help our clients deliver a wide range of fluvial, coastal, surface water or drainage flood risk management projects.
  • Lead: Mentor staff within the team to support their professional development and build relationships with internal clients and across other technical disciplines.
  • Quality: Use AECOM’s project management systems to deliver high-quality outputs to our clients in line with the agreed programme and budget.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of experience in flood modelling and flood risk assessment.
  • Significant experience in the application of hydraulic modelling software (Flood Modeller and/ or TUFLOW) and hydrological assessments using FEH and REFH2.
  • Demonstrable experience working on projects in UK&I.
  • Strong GIS skills using QGIS, ArcGIS and / or MapInfo.
  • Experience of other modelling types and software would be advantageous, such as flood forecasting modelling or water quality modelling using Mike 11.
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written.

An exciting new opportunity has opened for a Site Reliability Engineer within the Autodesk PDMS Platform SRE team. The successful candidate will wear multiple hats: first responder, performance analyst, system architect, capacity planner, and monitoring expert.  Good technical and communication skills are required for you to be successful in this role.  A passion for learning new technologies and a desire to solve problems you come across are the keys to being successful in this role.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement hosting solutions for highly dynamic SaaS web applications, ensuring reliability and performance at scale.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions to support scalable, reliable, and secure global environments.
  • Ensure efficient and well-documented standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Implement security and compliance with best practices across infrastructure and applications, including hardening, enforcing least privileges.
  • Use modern administration tools like Docker, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation/CDK to manage and deploy containers and virtual machines.
  • Collaborate with development, testing, and documentation teams during the product development cycle to ensure quality control.
  • Automate processes and integrate new technologies as needed.
  • Define and monitor Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and manage error budgets to ensure reliability goals are met.
  • Work with stakeholders to align technical strategy with business requirements.
  • Participate in on-call support and incident management, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
  • Conduct post-incident blameless postmortems to identify root causes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Self-starter mindset with a strong drive to learn and own initiatives to promote a culture of continuous improvement, and excellence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years DevOps/SRE experience with cloud-based applications.
  • Advanced hands-on experience Linux administration skills, including monitoring, troubleshooting, reliability and security
  • Experience managing large-scale cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
  • Strong scripting abilities (eg. Bash, Python, Perl, etc.)
  • Expert-level knowledge of AWS services (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, ELB, S3, IAM, VPC, Dynamo DB, RDS, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and container technologies.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools. (Jenkins, Artifactory, GIT, etc).
  • Skilled in log analysis and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace, New Relic, Grafana).
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL), and SQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

Apply to join our new platform initiative and take ownership of building a centralized performance testing automation platform for games development. In this role, you will collaborate with developers, designers, and QA teams to design and deliver a unified system that aggregates performance data from multiple game engines, processes results, and clearly highlights performance issues.

You will play a key role in defining the software architecture, database schemas, and overall system experience, while helping to track and visualize optimization progress over time. As this is a brand‑new platform with no prior internal equivalent, you’ll have a unique opportunity to shape its foundations and influence how performance testing is approached across our game development teams.

What you will do:

  • Develop and maintain a platform (applications, integrations and infrastructure) supporting gaming department
  • Partner closely with software architects, game developers, QA, and operations to remove bottlenecks and improve delivery
  • Build and Maintain CI/CD Pipelines
  • Script repetitive tasks and develop self-service tools for developers
  • Design and manage infrastructure
  • Implement and manage containers, stand up and manage VMs
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting
  • Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, and reliable.

We are looking for Engineers that:

  • Is fully self‑reliant and can take responsibility for future deliverables,

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, build automation, delivery and deployment

  • Proficient in coding in at least one programing language (preferred: Kotlin, Java, JavaScript, Python, C++/C#)

  • Deep knowledge and practical experience managing Cloud infrastructure. OCI is a huge plus.
  • Experience standing up and maintaining Windows and Linux VMs
