The opportunity
The Cyber & Investigative Services (CIS) Senior Cyber Incident Response Coordinator will exercise exemplary incident management techniques to coordinate incident response to cybersecurity events or incidents stemming from suspected threats on a global scale. Candidates for the role must have an exceptional comprehension of cybersecurity incident response plans and coordination of activities, establish and foster relationships on a global scale, and have superb verbal and written communication skills. Additionally, candidates must have a sense of diplomacy, ability to anticipate obstacles, and decision-making skills to handle the fast-paced world of cybersecurity incident management. Advanced skills in cybersecurity incident response, incident management, chain-of-custody, forensics, cybersecurity event analysis, and hands-on cybersecurity/digital-forensics skills are required.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate response efforts to cybersecurity incidents caused by external threats that may involve nontraditional working hours
  • Serve as a liaison and relationship manager to different businesses and interface with fellow team members and colleagues on other Information Security teams, as well as manage relationships with business partners, management, vendors, and external parties
  • Establish, foster, and maintain relationships with General Counsel, Data Privacy/Protection, and Risk Management key contacts
  • Drive and manage integration with other corporate incident management programs to ensure consistency and alignment with peer support teams within IT
  • Lead process and documentation development and improvements by the Cyber & Investigative Services team
  • Develop and document processes to ensure consistent and scalable response operations, and ensure continuous improvement to the firm’s global cybersecurity incident response plan
  • Collaborate with Cyber Incident Response lead to review team performance and deficencies in order to identy areas for improvement, as well as institue programs for correction or enhancement
  • Draft communications and ensure timely reports/updates to leadership for their own cases and the cases of those reporting to them during and after an event/incident
  • Own and manage the team’s internal action playbooks and knowledgebase
  • Must be willing to be on-call off hours in rotation with other team members (Required)

  • Analyze findings in investigative matters, and develop fact-based reports
  • Ability to identify and articulate opportunities for improvement while driving lessons learned activities

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience:
  • 7+ years’ experience in at least two of the following roles:
  • Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst/Manager (3 years minimum)
  • Cybersecurity Incident Coordinator
  • Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence
  • Cybersecurity Detection Engineering
  • Other relevant Cyber Defense functions
  • Attack & Penetration Testing (Active Defense)
  • eDiscovery or related role performing forensic functions
  • Deep understanding of security threats, vulnerabilities, and incident response
  • Understanding of electronic investigation, forensic tools, and methodologies, including: log correlation and analysis, forensically handling electronic data, knowledge of the computer security investigative processes, malware identification and analysis
  • Be familiar with a basic understanding of legalities surrounding electronic discovery and analysis
  • Understanding of regulatory stipulations regarding security incidents
  • Experience with SIEM technologies (i.e. Splunk, Sentinel)
  • Understanding of both Windows and Unix/Linux based operating systems

Ideally, you’ll also

  • Candidates must hold or be willing to pursue related professional certifications such as GCFE, GCFA, GCIH, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or CCIM

Shape the future of Axpo’s SAP ecosystem as a strategic technical and operational leader. This high-impact role combines deep technical expertise with exceptional project management skills, focusing equally on transformational projects and operational excellence.

What you will do:

  • Own the infrastructure topics for SAP RISE-managed and internally-hosted SAP systems.
  • Act as the central technical contact for network and cloud connectivity, including SAP satellite systems, firewall management, certificate administration, and DNS configuration.
  • Lead cross-functional infrastructure projects (e.g., migrations, integrations, system upgrades, cloud transitions).
  • Manage incidents, monitor system health, and ensure security and performance across SAP infrastructure layers.
  • Collaborate with the SAP Basis team to design and deliver infrastructure solutions.
  • Build effective relationships with Network, Cloud, Security, Identity, and Workplace teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
  • Drive automation initiatives and operational efficiency improvements.

What you bring & who you are:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or technical project management.
  • Expertise in managing on-premises and cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure or equivalent hyperscalers).
  • Strong understanding of SAP systems operations, including SAP RISE and Basis administration.
  • Proficiency in scripting and infrastructure automation (e.g., PowerShell, shell scripting).
  • Experience with ITSM frameworks (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) and managing infrastructure in regulated industries.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
  • Valid Swiss PSP certification or willingness to obtain.

As a Senior Technical Support Engineer, you will be a trusted advisor and technical resource for our customers in the EMEA region. You’ll be responsible for resolving high-impact technical issues, driving customer success, and collaborating closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams. This is an opportunity to shape how support is delivered and to contribute to the evolution of our platform and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert-level technical support to customers through phone, email, and chat.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues involving our observability platform, integrations, and customer environments.
  • Partner with engineering teams responsible for performance to become the subject matter expert on performance issues related to components like dashboards, monitors, and datasets. Lead initiatives to improve performance and educate engineering, technical support, and sales engineering teams on best practices.
  • Help to design and build AI skills that increase technical support engineering productivity, quality and speed.
  • Own and manage high-priority escalations, coordinating with engineering and product teams to drive resolution.
  • Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including knowledge base articles and runbooks.
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams, translating customer feedback into actionable product insights.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation to support urgent customer issues outside normal hours.
  • Proactively contribute to process improvement, tooling, and support automation initiatives.
  • Mentor junior support engineers and help level up the broader team through knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years in a technical support or customer-facing engineering role, ideally in a SaaS, DevOps, or observability-focused environment.
  • Deep familiarity with operating systems (Linux, Unix, macOS, and Windows) and modern networking concepts.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes; particularly in troubleshooting, scaling, and deployment contexts.
