We are delighted to invite you to join the Cybersecurity Detection & Response (CDR) team within the GDS PL Consulting division. This role focuses on leading the design, delivery, and improvement of security monitoring, detection, investigation, and response capabilities across different technologies and operating environments.

You will work in a dynamic consulting environment on assignments that may include CDR solution design, security operations transformation, SIEM and SOAR implementation, detection engineering, incident response improvement, operating models, governance, automation, and AI-enabled security capabilities.

The opportunity
As a Cybersecurity Manager, you will lead complex CDR engagements and workstreams, combining technical knowledge with consulting, delivery, and people-management responsibilities. Depending on client needs, you may shape a security solution, lead an implementation, assess an existing SOC or CSIRT capability, define a target operating model, or guide the improvement of detection and response processes.

We are looking for professionals with strong experience across multiple CDR domains who can adapt to different technologies, client environments, and delivery challenges. You will provide direction to delivery teams, engage senior stakeholders, contribute to proposals and solutioning, and support the continued development of the CDR practice.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead CDR engagements and workstreams from planning and solution design through delivery and closure.
  • Design practical solutions across security monitoring, detection engineering, incident response, automation, and security operations.
  • Apply AI-enabled capabilities to improve detection, investigation, response, automation, and security operations, with appropriate validation and human oversight.
  • Guide SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, log management, integration, migration, and detection content activities.
  • Translate client requirements, risks, and operational challenges into clear solution designs, delivery plans, and improvement roadmaps.
  • Facilitate workshops and communicate recommendations to technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership.
  • Lead, coach, and review the work of consultants while supporting their professional and technical development.
  • Contribute to proposals, RFP responses, solution development, effort estimation, presentations, and client discussions.
  • Support team planning, workload allocation, utilization, recruitment, knowledge development, and practice priorities.
  • Develop reusable CDR methods, accelerators, service offerings, and delivery assets.

Skills And Attributes For Success
Success in this role requires a combination of strong cybersecurity expertise, leadership, and consulting capabilities. The ideal candidate is a proactive and adaptable professional who can effectively engage stakeholders at all levels, translate complex technical topics into business value, and lead teams through challenging delivery engagements. A growth mindset, strong communication skills, and a passion for innovation, including the responsible use of AI in cybersecurity operations, will be key to succeeding in this position.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Strong professional experience in cybersecurity detection and response, security operations, incident response, or related consulting services
  • Demonstrable experience across multiple CDR areas, such as SIEM, detection engineering security automation, incident response, transformation, governance, or operating model design
  • Experience leading cybersecurity projects, workstreams, or multidisciplinary delivery teams
  • Ability to design CDR solutions that address business requirements
  • Understanding of how AI can be applied within CDR, including its opportunities, limitations, security risks, validation requirements, and need for human oversight
  • Strong understanding of detection use-case development, security data management, incident response, and security operations processes
  • Experience engaging senior technical and business stakeholders and translating complex requirements into practical recommendations
  • Experience managing scope, delivery quality, risks, dependencies, resources, and stakeholder expectations
  • Ability to lead teams, review deliverables, resolve delivery issues, and provide clear direction in complex environments
  • Experience contributing to proposals, RFP responses, solutioning, effort estimation, or business development activities
  • Strong communication, presentation, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Professional proficiency in English.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience with SOAR, security workflow automation, or security tool integrations
  • Working knowledge of query and scripting languages
  • Experience using AI-enabled capabilities within SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, or related cybersecurity platforms
  • Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, and established incident response methodologies
  • Experience with cloud security monitoring across Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
  • Relevant cybersecurity or technology certifications
  • Consulting background
  • Additional European language skills (German, French, Spanish).

What We Look For
We are looking for an experienced cybersecurity professional who combines strong technical expertise in Cyber Detection & Response with leadership and consulting capabilities. The ideal candidate is comfortable leading complex engagements, working with diverse stakeholders, and driving meaningful security improvements in challenging environments. They demonstrate a collaborative mindset, commercial awareness, and a passion for developing people while delivering high-quality client outcomes. We value individuals who are curious, adaptable, and eager to embrace innovation, including the responsible adoption of AI-enabled security capabilities.

Senior Backend Engineer (Golang) - Castle Busters

Voodoo

Krakowsenior

Описание вакансии

About Voodoo
Founded in 2013, Voodoo is a tech company that creates mobile games and apps with a mission to entertain the world. Gathering 800 employees, 7 billion downloads, and over 200 million active users, Voodoo is the #3 mobile publisher worldwide in terms of downloads after Google and Meta. Our portfolio includes chart-topping games like Mob Control and Block Jam, alongside popular apps such as BeReal and Wizz.

This position can be Paris-based or remote.

Team

For this position, you will be an integral part of a newly established internal studio, a dynamic and focused team dedicated to one of our most promising prototype in scale. This studio is specifically chartered to improve this high-potential game up to the successful and market-ready title it is meant to become.

You will be part of the team building Castle Busters, a turn-based multiplayer game, working alongside its client engineers and game designers as a full member of the game team. You will be part of a small group owning the backend that this game needs as its requirements become more specific and demanding.

You’ll also be plugged into Voodoo's shared gaming backend platform - the same architecture and patterns that power titles like Mob Control and Block Jam 3D - building on it and contributing back, in close collaboration with the wider backend team. You get the focus and ownership of a dedicated game engineer with the leverage and support of a battle-tested platform behind you.

This is a pivotal hire: Castle Busters is moving towards competitive multiplayer, which means moving game logic from the client to the server. You will be central to that transition.

Role

You will design and build the server-side foundation that takes Castle Busters from a client-authoritative game to a competitive, server-validated one. The current game computes everything on the device - progression, economy, and match outcomes alike, which won't hold up for competitive PvP. Your job is to change that.

Working closely with client developers and game designers from feature design through delivery, validation and iteration, you will:

  • Build server-side validation for the metagame - currency, card upgrades, chest opens, and progression - staged by risk, replicating economy and reward logic on the server.
  • Move toward server authority for competitive features, where game state lives in one place and can be trusted.
  • Design APIs and player-state management that the Unity client integrates against, and help shape how client and server split responsibilities.

The responsibilities are cross-functional, ranging from infrastructure, API design & coding all the way to client-side integration (we are using Golang).

To succeed in this role, you will need to have passion for everything you do. You love to write code that scales to millions of users, are skilled at requirements gathering, champion new tech initiatives & leverage existing solutions.

Profile

  • 7+ years of backend development experience
  • Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals
  • Extreme fluency in Golang (At least 1 year in a professional environment)
  • Mastery of SQL and NoSQL
  • Background in high-scale systems
  • Understanding of Unix-like environments
  • Experience working in cross-functional agile teams
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of solving complex problems related to scalability, performance, and integration in high-stakes environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing teams and interfacing effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to be self sufficient and work autonomously.
  • A deep interest in game development is a plus.

Benefits

  • Best-in-class compensation
  • Other benefits according to the country you reside
