We are looking for a talented
Data Engineer
to join our dynamic team in the financial services industry. Your work will empower data-driven decision-making, strengthen business intelligence, and support innovation across the Bolder Group. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable solutions on Azure and Databricks — with the guidance of senior colleagues who will help you grow fast.

What You'll Do
- Build and maintain data pipelines & automation – Develop ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, clean, transform, and load data from various sources into Azure data stores and Databricks clusters using Python, SQL, and PySpark.
- Data modelling and optimization – Design and implement data models that support business reporting and are optimized for Power BI.
- Contribute to data solutions on Azure – Take part in building end-to-end data solutions using Azure services (Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake Storage, SQL Database, Logic Apps), under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Performance optimization – Help monitor and improve pipeline performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Data quality & governance – Investigate data quality issues and support the implementation of governance and security practices.
- Continuous improvement – Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute ideas to the team.
What You Bring
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in data engineering or a closely related field.
- Azure services — working knowledge of Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and how they connect into an end-to-end pipeline.
- Data modelling — familiarity with the Databricks / Data Lake concept and solid understanding of data modelling principles; ability to design ETL processes in a cloud environment.
- Programming — proficient in Python and SQL; PySpark is a plus.
- Power BI — able to build clear, business-ready reports.
- English — strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Mindset — curious, service-oriented, and comfortable receiving feedback from senior colleagues.
Nice to have
- APIs and integration experience
- Exposure to CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Interest in working with AI and development in this area

Salary:
The minimum offer for this role is
€2,700 gross/month/full-time
