Описание вакансии

We are looking for a talented
Data Engineer
to join our dynamic team in the financial services industry. Your work will empower data-driven decision-making, strengthen business intelligence, and support innovation across the Bolder Group. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable solutions on Azure and Databricks — with the guidance of senior colleagues who will help you grow fast.

This role is ideal for a
starting professional
who wants to work within a clear framework, receive structured feedback, and gradually take ownership of end-to-end deliverables.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain data pipelines & automation – Develop ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, clean, transform, and load data from various sources into Azure data stores and Databricks clusters using Python, SQL, and PySpark.
  • Data modelling and optimization – Design and implement data models that support business reporting and are optimized for Power BI.
  • Contribute to data solutions on Azure – Take part in building end-to-end data solutions using Azure services (Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake Storage, SQL Database, Logic Apps), under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Performance optimization – Help monitor and improve pipeline performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Data quality & governance – Investigate data quality issues and support the implementation of governance and security practices.
  • Continuous improvement – Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute ideas to the team.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in data engineering or a closely related field.
  • Azure services — working knowledge of Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and how they connect into an end-to-end pipeline.
  • Data modelling — familiarity with the Databricks / Data Lake concept and solid understanding of data modelling principles; ability to design ETL processes in a cloud environment.
  • Programming — proficient in Python and SQL; PySpark is a plus.
  • Power BI — able to build clear, business-ready reports.
  • English — strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Mindset — curious, service-oriented, and comfortable receiving feedback from senior colleagues.

Nice to have

  • APIs and integration experience
  • Exposure to CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
  • Interest in working with AI and development in this area

What we offer
At Bolder, you'll always find:

  • Fair financial compensation based on your qualifications and experience
  • Opportunity to make a real impact on our team and business
  • An environment that supports personal growth and healthy work-life balance
  • Development opportunities across Bolder Group and affiliated companies

Benefits:

  • Guaranteed 13th salary
  • 2 sick days per year
  • Sick leave support
  • Fully covered meal vouchers
  • Multisport card or cash allowance for sports and cultural activities
  • Monthly travel allowance
  • Fruits and beverages in the office daily
  • Team activities and events

Salary:
The minimum offer for this role is
€2,700 gross/month/full-time
. We aim to pay our employees fairly, so your salary might be higher, reflecting your experience and skill set.
