Data Engineer

In brief:

• Allocation: minimum 1 year

This is a strategic role with the opportunity to directly influence architecture, standards, governance, and DevOps practices across internal teams.

Job responsibilities:

• hands-on support for migration to Databricks
• design of architectural and engineering standards
• data governance and data lifecycle management
• Unity Catalog setup and configuration
• data quality and monitoring
• orchestration of Databricks jobs using Airflow
• definition of CI/CD, operational procedures, conventions, and governance rules

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks in a real production environment
• Orchestration using Airflow in combination with Databricks
• CI/CD for Databricks, Git, testing, and deployment automation
• Data quality, monitoring, or DQ frameworks
• Knowledge of Databricks architecture and engineering best practices
• DevOps and operation of a data platform

Nice to have**:**

• Unity Catalog, metadata management, tagging, data dictionaries, and data catalogs
