Data & Integration Engineer

We are looking for a Data & Integration Engineer to join an international team building the next generation of marketing and customer data platforms for a leading European e-commerce organization.

This is an opportunity to work on modern cloud technologies, scalable data products, and integration services that power customer engagement, analytics, and automation at scale.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain reliable data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Build integrations between internal systems and external platforms using REST APIs, webhooks and event-driven architectures.
• Develop scalable data models and ELT pipelines using dbt and Google BigQuery.
• Build and maintain customer-centric data products used for analytics, segmentation and reporting.
• Design and operate cloud-native services running on Kubernetes and Cloud Run.
• Implement infrastructure using Terraform and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure high data quality through testing, monitoring, documentation and observability.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Data Engineers, Data Analysts and Software Engineers to design scalable data solutions.
• Contribute to modern data architecture, platform evolution and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Data & Integration Engineer.
• Strong SQL skills and solid experience with data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery.
• Experience building ELT pipelines using dbt.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs, webhooks and event-driven systems.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Cloud Run, CI/CD pipelines and Terraform.
• Experience with Git and modern software engineering practices.
• Strong understanding of data quality, testing and monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Professional English is required.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) or Customer Engagement Platforms such as HubSpot, Braze or Iterable.
• Experience with marketing data, customer analytics or customer journey platforms.
• Knowledge of Java.
