Data Steward

My responsibilities:

• Implementation of data quality monitoring solutions, including data profiling and automated validation
• Support in the development of comprehensive data quality architectures and strategies
• Preparing data quality rules and reports in cooperation with our business stakeholders and analytical teams to ensure operational stability and analytics
• Further developing the data catalog to meet data quality requirements
• Cooperating closely with the data owners and data stewards of our data community as well as with the development teams in order to implement the resulting requirements in the system
• Coordinate development of data quality checks in our data quality solutions focussing on master data and analytical data

The knowledge I own:

• Academic degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or equivalent qualification/training
• Several years practical experience in data stewardship/data quality/data management/data standards
• Knowledge of the connection between data rules, E2E processes, data quality
• Strong analytical skills, structured thinking and high affinity for problem solving
• Intercultural competence
• Excellent communication skills and business fluency in English; knowledge of German is a plus
