About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Principal Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining a scalable, robust, and secure infrastructure for our ID verification platform powered by Machine Learning. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our deployment pipelines, improve system reliability, and implement automation strategies. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of cloud technology, influencing the architecture and operational excellence of our platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and security, with a passion for continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Cloud DevOps engineering, particularly with AWS and Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Helm, Docker, and Git
• Strong understanding of supporting production applications in cloud environments
• Experience with monitoring tools, frameworks, and processes
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Programming skills in Python and familiarity with networking and security concepts
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment
• Relevant certifications in cloud technologies or DevOps practices are a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and improve existing cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance
• Design and implement scalable solutions for new platform features and enhancements
• Automate deployment processes to streamline releases and reduce manual intervention
• Collaborate with the Security team to identify and mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities
• Develop tools and frameworks to improve system stability, scalability, and reliability
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams
• Support and optimize production applications in cloud environments
• Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging frameworks
• Contribute to the development of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and other automation tools
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps and cloud infrastructure
