Job Summary
An exciting opportunity opens within Digital Solution & Infrastructure team, Processing Solutions and Equipment. We support and deliver advanced integrated plant automation and MES solutions to our customers globally in cooperation with our Market companies.

We are looking for an experienced Digital (Software) Engineer who wants to develop, implement and deliver Digital E2E solutions to our customers.

This is a permanent position based in
Monza, Italy
and requires
travel, approximately 40% of your time
.

What You Will Do
You will work with designing the production plant system architecture from ERP to shop floor. Configuring, deploying and testing
MES/MOM (Manufacturing Management) solutions
adapting them to different customer needs that
often require development
. The work includes problem-solving, adapting technology solution, implement and support solution installations. You will be collaborating internally and deliver externally towards our customers, which includes travel to customer sites.

Main Responsibilities

  • Configuring, deploying and testing Tetra Pak MES/MOM (Manufacturing Management) solutions adapting them to the different customer needs (in different areas of the production like Reception, Production, Packaging and Quality)
  • 360 Integration of processing, packaging, and relates industrial systems like ERP, WMS, LIMS to create a plant solution.
  • Deliver technical lifecycle support and Issue Resolution capabilities for solution implemented.
  • Support the development of solutions to adjust our Digital Portfolio to our customer needs.

Profile Description
We believe you have

  • Understanding of MES/MIS applications and the requirements for Digital Transformation such as Industry 4.0 and Industrial Internet of Things.
  • Project management experience and knowledge of requirements engineering are highly valued.
  • Knowledge in PLCs (Siemens, Rockwell, etc)
  • Experience in HMI Implementation (Siemens WinCC, Rockwell RSView, AVEVA Intouch, etc)
  • Virtualisation and containers environments

EU Pay Transparency
Tetra Pak provides the following compensation indication in good faith as a guide to what may be paid and/or offered for this position. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role, level and the applicable local market conditions on a full-time basis. For part-time or alternative schedules, pay will be proportionately adjusted based on contractual working hours. Ranges are determined by role, level, and applicable local market conditions. Within the applicable range, individual pay is determined based on job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training, consistent with our commitment to pay equity.

Below is an indication of the compensation and benefits typically offered for this position.

Gross annual base salary range
: EUR 48,055.05 – 68,646.79

Variable pay
: This role is eligible for an annual discretionary incentive subject to company and individual performance

Position Summary:

Responsible for the design coordination, construction support, commissioning, and operational readiness of all factory utility distribution systems required for the successful delivery of the new greenfield manufacturing facility.

A day in the life of the Industrial Services | Utilities Engineer:

  • Utility Distribution Systems:

Steam distribution, Condensate recovery, Compressed air distribution, Chilled water distribution, Cooling waste, Process water, Potable water, Hot water, HVAC utility interfaces, Natural gas distribution systems, Utility pipe bridges and underground utility networks, Utility metering systems, Utility monitoring systems, Fire protection systems

  • Engineering & Design:

Review utility system designs and deliverables. Ensure utility distribution networks meet process and build requirements. Review P&IDs, layouts, technical specifications, calculations and contractor submissions. Participate in design reviews and constructability reviews. Ensure compliance with Nestlé Engineering Standards and local regulations.

  • Construction Support:

Coordinate utility installation activities with contractors and suppliers. Support construction planning and sequencing. Resolve technical issues arising during construction. Verify installation quality and compliance with approved designs. Participate in inspections and punch-list management. Monitor construction progress against project milestones.

  • Commissioning & Start-Up:

Prepare and execute commissioning plans for utility distribution systems. Coordinate flushing and performance testing. Support utility system start-up and troubleshooting. Verify system performance against design requirements. Participate on SAT, commissioning, and handover activities. Ensure all utility systems are operational

  • Safety & Compliance:

Promote safe design and construction practices. Support permit-to-work and contractor safety programs. Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Ensure utility systems meet food safety and hygienic design requirements.

What will make you successful?

  • For factories with large built-up distributed ammonia plants (Ice Cream, Frozen Food or Freeze Drying, industrial refrigeration background and ammonia experience is required
  • Experience operating or supervising others who operate heating pressure systems (gas boilers) or other large combustion systems (steam, hot water)
  • Experience in P&ID (piping instrumentation diagram)
  • Experience in industrial plants: AHU, chillers, fire protection systems, water and steam generation, water treatment, BMS and electrical equipment.
  • Fluency in Italian and English is required.

Position Summary:

Ensure the successful design, planning, implementation, installation, testing, start-up, ramp up and handover of major capital investment projects on the manufacturing site, following Nestlé safety standards, projects charters, design specifications, ways of working & success criteria.

A Day in the Life of a Logistics Lead Engineer:

  • Logistics Automation Oversight: Provide expert technical assistance during the execution, commissioning, and operation of automated warehouse systems, ensuring seamless integration with manufacturing and alignment with Nestlé-Purina quality standards

  • Meet quality expectations. In the event of a quality problem, rectify it and inform the responsible manager and involve him/her in the rectification of the problem with immediate actions.

  • Carry out all duties in strict compliance with Product Safety, Environmental Management, Occupational Health, and Safety documents, with a specific focus on equipment safety.

  • Drive operational efficiency by applying Lean engineering principles to eliminate waste and optimize material flow within automated systems.

  • Carry out the duties specified for the post holder in the Product Safety, Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Safety and Quality Management System documents.

  • Actively oversee and manage project budget, tracking expenditures to ensure major capital automation projects are delivered cost-effectively.

  • Agile Problem Solving: Thrive in a fast-paced environment by thinking outside the box to immediately troubleshoot, rectify, and escalate any technical or operational bottlenecks affecting the project. .

  • Give coaching and/or instructions to staff on any subject, considering the relevant Nestlé Safety Standard and rules. Promoting a respectful, inclusive, cooperative and healthy work environment along crosfuctional teams.

  • Proactive approach on your day-to-day tasks, constantly looking room for improvement (Trainings, coaching, follow ups).

  • Ensure to comply with project expectations in a timely manner with a professional approach.
    What will make you successful?

  • Automation Project Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in engineering development, commissioning, and implementation of automated warehousing solutions (ASRS, AGVs, high-bay storage, conveyors) within the food or manufacturing industry. .

  • Safety First: Comprehensive knowledge of machine safety (ISO/OSHA standards related to automated machinery) to minimize injuries or damages to people and equipment.

  • Financial & Lean Acumen: Comprehensive experience in CAPEX budget administration and a proven track record of applying Lean engineering methodologies to results-oriented projects .

  • Mindset & Adaptability: A results-oriented professional with a strong problem-solving mindset, who enjoys a fast-paced environment and possesses the ability to think creatively ("outside the box")

  • Fullfilement Center operations experience is a must have.

  • Technical & Safety Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge of logistics, electrical engineering, automation controls (PLCs/SCADA/WMS/WCS), and digital manufacturing operations. .

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, and a market-leading benefits package described below. STORAGE & BACKUP ADMIN
per un Cliente leader nel settore dei servizi digitali e della sicurezza informatica.

I candidati ideali lavoreranno da remoto, ma è gradita flessibilità a recarsi occasionalmente presso la nostra sede in provincia di Varese.

La risorsa si occuperà delle seguenti attività:

  • Gestione sistemistica e manutenzione delle piattaforme storage (Hitachi Vantara VSP, NetApp CDOT) su infrastrutture SAN, NAS e Object Storage
  • Monitoraggio proattivo e risoluzione degli incidenti sulle piattaforme di storage e backup
  • Sviluppo e manutenzione di script di automazione (Bash, ZSH, Python, Ruby) per processi di provisioning, manutenzione e monitoraggio
  • Amministrazione dei sistemi e delle procedure di backup e disaster recovery in ambienti ibridi e cloud
  • Configurazione degli apparati SAN (es. Brocade) e integrazione delle risorse storage con piattaforme virtualizzate e sistemi operativi
  • Ottimizzazione e modernizzazione dell’infrastruttura IT distribuita a supporto delle sedi del Cliente Finale

Il profilo ideale deve avere le seguenti caratteristiche:

  • Laurea triennale in Informatica, Scienze e tecnologie informatiche o Ingegneria dell’informazione
  • Esperienza di almeno 3 anni nel ruolo di Storage Administrator, System Engineer o Storage & Backup Specialist in contesti complessi
  • Conoscenza approfondita delle architetture storage SAN, NAS e Object Storage (Hitachi Vantara VSP, NetApp CDOT)
  • Competenze nei linguaggi di scripting per automazione infrastrutturale: Bash, ZSH, Python o Ruby
  • Esperienza con soluzioni di backup di mercato e logiche di ripristino dati
  • Conoscenza di ulteriori piattaforme storage (Dell/EMC², Brocade SAN, Red Hat Ceph) e backup enterprise (Veritas NetBackup, IBM Spectrum Protect/TSM, Veeam) – preferenziale
  • Familiarità con ambienti operativi e di virtualizzazione (Windows, Linux, VMware, KVM, Solaris, Citrix) – preferenziale
  • Orientamento all’amministrazione, manutenzione e automazione di infrastrutture storage e backup complesse
