About the Role

We are looking for an AI Engineer to join our Innovation & Technology team and play a key role in designing and deploying AI solutions across the business.

This role combines hands-on AI engineering with close collaboration across internal teams, aiming to embed practical, high-impact AI capabilities into the way KAFKAS operates.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong technical mindset, genuine interest in applied AI and enthusiasm for building solutions that make a real business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy AI agents and assistants using Microsoft Azure AI Foundry
• Connect AI solutions with the Enterprise Data Warehouse and third-party systems through APIs and data pipelines
• Evaluate and implement LLM-based solutions while ensuring compliance with GDPR and the EU AI Act
• Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes for new AI use cases identified through the AI Ambassadors program
• Collaborate closely with Power Platform Developers, Enterprise Architecture and business teams to deliver production-ready AI solutions
• Monitor model performance, conduct evaluations and continuously optimize AI applications
• Prepare technical documentation and communicate AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field
• At least 1 year of experience in AI/ML Engineering or Software Engineering with a focus on AI applications
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry or the Azure AI/ML ecosystem
• Experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic or Azure OpenAI) and Prompt Engineering
• Good knowledge of Python and REST APIs
• Understanding of data pipelines and third-party system integrations
• Very good command of the English language, both written and spoken
