We are looking for a
Junior Quality Assurance Engineer
to join our Technology Engineering & Management team. You will work alongside experienced QA professionals, developers and business analysts to help ensure our digital solutions meet high quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity to learn modern testing practices while contributing to digital transformation projects across high-performance, high-security, web-based solutions with a strong customer focus.

The Blueprint of your Role

  • GCA Family & Sub-family: Technology Engineering and Management - Technology Quality Assurance
  • Career Level: Level 6 – Team Member 1

Why join us?

  • Clarity (GCA): You have a well-defined career path. You’ll know exactly where you stand and what steps you need to take to grow within the team.
  • Fair Evaluation (Korn Ferry): We don’t rely on subjective opinions. We use a global methodology that helps you understand your potential and develop accordingly.
  • Smart Working: We try to automate repetitive processes as much as possible using data analytics tools, so we can focus on the things that actually matter.

What will you actually do?

You will support quality assurance activities across technology projects while learning industry best practices and contributing to the delivery of reliable digital solutions. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will gain hands-on experience throughout the software testing lifecycle and help ensure applications meet business requirements and quality standards.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support testing activities: execute manual testing activities for assigned projects under the guidance of senior team members, ensuring applications meet functional requirements and expected quality standards.
  • QA standards & quality culture: follow KPMG and client QA standards, methodologies and best practices while contributing to a culture of quality across project teams.
  • Test design & execution (functional & non-functional): prepare, execute and maintain test cases, test scenarios and testing documentation for functional, regression, smoke and integration testing. Gain exposure to non-functional testing practices where applicable.
  • Business analysis & requirements mapping: work closely with business analysts, developers and QA colleagues to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
  • Defect management: identify, document, prioritize and retest software defects using approved tools, collaborating with development teams to verify fixes and ensure issues are resolved.
  • Compliance, controls & documentation: follow established QA processes, documentation standards and project controls to ensure testing activities are properly documented and traceable.
  • Test planning support: assist in preparing test plans, testing documentation and execution activities in accordance with project testing approaches and timelines.
  • UAT preparation & support: support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, assisting business users during execution and documenting reported issues.
  • Data validation & integration testing: perform basic data validation activities and support testing of APIs and system integrations where required.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers and other team members to help deliver high-quality software solutions.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Post-go-live support & continuous improvement: support post-go-live validation activities, monitor reported issues and contribute ideas for improving testing processes and documentation.
  • Issue tracking & documentation: maintain accurate records of defects, test results and corrective actions using the team's testing and tracking tools.
  • Project communication: participate in project meetings and communicate testing progress, issues and risks to the project team with guidance from experienced colleagues.
  • Continuous learning: actively participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, training opportunities and continuous learning activities to develop your QA skills and technical expertise.

Who are you?

You are a QA Engineer who understands both the language of technology and the language of business, and enjoys shaping practical, robust QA solutions that improve how organizations deliver and operate digital products.

Mindset & behaviors

  • Analytical & structured: Able to break down complex systems, processes and requirements into clear, testable components and design scalable, maintainable QA approaches.
  • Client-focused: You listen actively, seek to understand real business needs and user expectations, and translate them into meaningful test scenarios and quality criteria.
  • Proactive & accountable: You take ownership of your QA scope, anticipate issues early, escalate risks appropriately and drive them to resolution.
  • Collaborative team player: You work effectively with developers, architects, business analysts and client stakeholders, and you share knowledge openly.
  • Adaptable & mobile: You are comfortable working in dynamic environments and are open to occasional travel for project engagements, including international assignments when required.

Experience & Background

  • Up to 2 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance or a related technology role.
