About Fundraise Up
We’re Fundraise Up - a global fundraising platform built to make donating to nonprofits fast, seamless, and accessible to all. Every month, our technology powers tens of millions of dollars in donations across the globe. We focus on innovation that directly impacts results: faster load times, higher conversion rates, global payment support, and accessibility-first design.

Our platform is trusted by many of the world’s leading nonprofits, including UNICEF, the Alzheimer’s Association, and a wide range of global NGOs. With a 4.9/5 rating across top software review platforms, we’re recognized not just for our impact - but for the quality of the product we deliver.

A Truly Global Product
We operate in the enterprise segment, serving nonprofit organizations across North America, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Europe.

We’re building a
large and complex product ecosystem
that serves nonprofits, donors, and partners around the world. The platform includes a modern
checkout experience and customizable widgets
(each a standalone SPA),
donor, organization, and partner portals
,
admin tools
, and several internal apps.

The Team
We are a distributed team of 160+ product professionals. Our team members are mainly based across Spain, Poland, Portugal, Georgia, Armenia, Serbia, Turkey, and Cyprus.

Despite our scale, we operate like a focused team - where every task matters and every voice is heard. We value thoughtful collaboration, strong engineering practices, and a product mindset. You’ll be joining a team where quality, mentorship, and mutual respect come first.

About The Role
We are looking for a proactive and security-minded
IT Support Engineer (L2)
to join our global team. As a core member of our L2 team, you will share responsibility for complex technical escalations across time zones. Beyond operational support, you will take
full ownership of Access Governance and SaaS administration
. We are looking for an engineer who doesn't just follow processes but actively seeks to automate them, improving our efficiency and security posture through continuous integration and smart tooling.

What You’ll Do

  • L1 escalations: intake, triage, diagnosis, and resolution of tickets not closed at L1. Includes admin operations in corporate tools, access provisioning, complex technical requests, integrations, and alerts from monitoring systems. Work within agreed SLAs for response and resolution; escalate further when outside scope or ownership boundaries.
  • Onboarding & offboarding support: creation and deprovisioning of accounts in corporate SaaS tools, MDM enrollment where applicable, credential handoff, and baseline laptop setup in line with internal processes.
  • Incident response: phishing, account compromise, lost/stolen devices, malware, and other security alerts — containment, remediation, and follow-up actions using documented playbooks.
  • Automation & integrations: drive continuous improvement through scripts, APIs, Zapier/n8n (or equivalents), and integrations to eliminate repetitive manual work. Automation does not have to be your current strongest skill, but initiative and genuine interest are required. You can consult with our Tools Engineer, but ideas and ownership should come from you.
  • L1 mentoring & documentation: provide regular feedback and coaching, maintain and improve L1 instructions and runbooks, and document automations and recurring operational procedures.
  • Corporate SaaS administration: admin ownership over our core collaboration and identity stack (e.g., Slack, Notion, Google Workspace, 1Password) plus other corporate SaaS tools — configuration, access policies, audits, and license usage control.
  • SaaS lifecycle management: maintain the SaaS registry in Notion, provide reporting for Vendor Management ahead of renewals; evaluate new tools and roll out after approval; decommission outdated tools.
  • Identity-related incident playbooks: develop and maintain playbooks for phishing, account compromise, suspicious sign-ins in Google Workspace, and credential/access rotation.
  • At Fundraise Up, AI is a default tool, not an experimental one. We expect every team member to actively use AI in their day-to-day work, identify where AI can change the shape of problems in their function, and grow their fluency as the tools evolve. You should already be using AI meaningfully in your work and understand where it adds value and how it can improve the way you operate.

Requirements

  • 5 years in IT support, with at least 3–5 years at L2 / Sysadmin level.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and end-to-end ticket ownership (intake, triage, resolution, escalation when out of scope).
  • Hands-on experience with macOS administration and end-user troubleshooting.
  • Strong Google Workspace admin skills (roles, logs, security settings).
  • Understanding of security and incident handling (phishing / account compromise).
  • Comfortable with identity & access work (RBAC, audits, access reviews; understands how SSO / SAML / SCIM affect onboarding/offboarding).
  • Ability to write and keep documentation up to date (runbooks, checklists, incident playbooks); can mentor L1.

Strong plus

  • Admin ownership in multiple corporate SaaS tools (e.g., Slack/Notion + project management + ticketing/support tooling) — access policies, audits, license management
  • Automation experience (scripts / APIs / Zapier / n8n or equivalents). We can support your growth here, but you should be self-driven and eager to automate your own work.
  • Knowledge of 1Password or similar in a corporate context (if not covered above as a must-have)
  • Experience with Jira Service Management (as a user or admin) or similar tools
  • Familiarity with vendor/license management processes (renewals, usage reporting)
  • Experience with MDM / endpoint tooling (for collaboration with Devices & Infrastructure owner)

Why work with us

  • A strong, collaborative product team that owns what it builds
  • Clear product vision and access to real customer feedback from global nonprofit leaders
  • Flat structure: no politics, just great work with great people
  • Transparent company culture-we share how we’re growing, where revenue comes from, and what’s next
  • Long-term focus: we offer equity options and value sustained, meaningful contribution

Benefits

  • 31 days off
  • 100% paid telemedicine plan
  • Home Office Setup Assistance: the company offers assistance with purchasing furniture (office chair, office desk, monitor) and other items to create a comfortable workspace
  • English learning courses
  • Relevant professional education
  • Gym or swimming pool
  • Co-working
  • Remote working

Описание вакансии

Our Mission and Vision
At Solidgate, our mission is clear: to empower outstanding entrepreneurs to build exceptional internet companies. We exist to fuel the builders — the ones shaping the digital economy — with the financial infrastructure they deserve. To achieve that, we’re on a bold path: to become the #1 payments orchestration platform in the world.

We believe the future of payments is shaped by people who think big, take ownership, and bring curiosity and drive to everything they do. That’s exactly the kind of teammates we want on board.

We’re building the #1 payment orchestrator in the world — and the names behind us prove it. Clients include Bolt, Ajax,
Nova Post
,
MEGOGO
. Trusted by giants like J.P. Morgan. Ranked #2 in the “Employer of the Year 2026” award by Forbes Ukraine.
Why This Role Is Critical
Solidgate processes millions of payments across 120+ services, including its own acquiring module, and operates in a regulated environment with real cardholder data and SWIFT connectivity. You'll define what detection looks like at Solidgate: what gets monitored, what gets detected, and how the team responds when something goes wrong.

What You Will Own

  • Build and operationalize the SIEM from PoC to production - including case management and UEBA, with full ownership of the technology selection
  • Design, write, and tune detection rules mapped to MITRE ATT&CK, covering identity compromise, privilege escalation, lateral movement, and endpoint threats
  • Triage and investigate L2/L3 alerts, reduce false positives, and establish clear escalation paths for each use case
  • Lead incident response and basic forensics - containment, eradication, and structured lessons learned
  • Onboard log sources across AWS, JumpCloud, Google Workspace, CDE, and SWIFT;
  • Run threat hunts based on realistic attack hypotheses specific to a payment platform's risk profile
  • Build and maintain runbooks and playbooks; automate repetitive actions via SOAR or scripting
  • Define SOC metrics and own monthly reporting to management on detection coverage and response performance

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 3+ years in SOC / Detection & Response at L2/L3 level, with hands-on investigation experience
  • Practical experience building or operating a SIEM, including writing and tuning detection rules
  • Detection engineering with MITRE ATT&CK mapping; confident with KQL, SPL, or equivalent query languages
  • Experience investigating cloud log sources: AWS CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Google Workspace, EDR/XDR
  • Scripting and automation skills (Python or similar) for telemetry processing and routine tasks
  • Solid understanding of attacker techniques and how they manifest in logs - not just tool knowledge, but threat understanding
  • Structured under pressure: disciplined investigation process, clear documentation, clean post-mortems

The Points That Make You Stand Out

  • SOAR experience and a detection-as-code approach (version control for rules, CI pipelines for detection)
  • UEBA, threat intelligence enrichment, or alert contextualization at scale
  • Familiarity with payment-specific environments - CDE monitoring, SWIFT, PCI DSS context
  • Purple teaming experience working alongside an offensive security team

Why This Role Is a Career Accelerator

  • You'll own the Security Operations direction at Solidgate - this isn't a slot in someone else's SOC, it's yours to build
  • Real data, real threats - a fintech processing millions of transactions is a genuinely complex detection environment, not a sandbox
  • You'll choose the stack: SIEM, SOAR, detection framework - your decisions will shape how Solidgate detects threats for years
  • Direct path to leading the SOC function and growing the team as the company scales
  • Hands-on experience at the intersection of cloud-native infrastructure, IR, and detection engineering in a regulated environment - a combination rare outside large enterprises

Why Join Solidgate

  • Impactful work: you're monitoring and defending financial infrastructure that processes millions of real payments. What you detect and respond to directly affects the company's risk profile and the businesses relying on the platform.
  • Creative freedom: the SOC is greenfield. No inherited SIEM, no legacy detection rules, no alert fatigue from someone else's misconfigured use cases. You build the detection stack from scratch and own every decision in it.
  • Career growth: a realistic path to leading the Security Operations function within 6-12 months, with direct collaboration with a CISO who came up through the technical side. Want to go deeper into cloud detection, threat intelligence, or automation? That door is open.
  • Ownership culture: you own the detection lifecycle end to end - log onboarding, use case design, triage, response, and reporting. No hand-offs, no findings that disappear into a backlog.
  • People worth working with: a senior InfoSec team that takes security seriously and treats detection gaps as engineering problems worth solving. Smart, experienced teammates who raise the bar and actually have each other's backs.

💌 The Extras:
30+ days off, unlimited sick leave, free office meals, health coverage, and Apple gear to keep you productive. Courses, conferences, sports and wellness benefits — all designed for ideas, focus, and fun.

Security at scale is rare to build from scratch. This is that chance
🫂 Know top talent?
We’re always on the lookout.
Recommend someone
for our role, and if they get hired, there’s a bonus waiting for you — simple as that.
