Job description

• Build & Maintain Azure Data Platform:
  Develop, operate, and continuously optimize the data platform using Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Implement Core Data Solutions:
  Deploy scalable data solutions using Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, ADLS, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Functions.
• Pipeline Automation:
  Drive CI/CD and automation processes using Azure DevOps, Python, and PowerShell scripting.
• Advanced Data Engineering:
  Write complex Spark (Python/Scala) and T-SQL code, ensuring high quality through robust unit testing.
• Standards & Security:
  Maintain architectural consistency, security compliance, and adherence to Azure-native best practices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  Partner with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver innovative, forward-thinking analytics solutions.

Requirements

• Azure & Technical Foundation:
  Basic knowledge of Azure Data Engineering, SQL, and Python, paired with a strong drive to continuously learn and improve.
• Cloud & Data Vision:
  Eagerness to master modern cloud concepts and build secure, reliable, future-proof data solutions.
• Automation Passion:
  Keen interest in automating recurring tasks, testing, and security within CI/CD pipelines.
• Adaptability & Teamwork:
  Hands-on team player with the flexibility to handle shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Communication:
  Strong English communication skills with the ability to understand the big picture.
• Certifications (Optional):
  Relevant Azure data certifications (DP-203 is a plus).

Strong plus:

• Experience and knowledge of Solvency II and/or IFRS
• Experience in Finance Banking or Risk management Insurance.
• Experience in working with complex systems applications chain (building models to support the entire application chain)
