Junior Helpdesk Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated IT Support Technician to provide day-to-day technical support to employees and assist in maintaining the organisation’s IT systems. This role is suitable for a junior IT professional who is eager to grow their skills while delivering reliable, friendly user support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line and basic second-line IT support to users via phone, email, and in person
• Troubleshoot common hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Set up, configure, and maintain user devices including desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and mobile devices
• Assist with user account creation, access management, and password resets
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes (equipment setup, access removal, user trainings)
• Log and update support requests in the ticketing system and ensure timely follow-up
• Escalate more complex technical issues to senior IT staff
• Follow IT policies, procedures, and security guidelines
• Maintain basic documentation and user guides

Skills & Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
• Knowledge of Windows environments
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and common workplace applications
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN, printers)
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
