Описание вакансии

At Kpler, we are dedicated to helping our clients navigate complex markets with ease. By simplifying global trade information and providing valuable insights, we empower organisations to make informed decisions in commodities, energy, and maritime sectors.

Since our founding in 2014, we have focused on delivering top-tier intelligence through user-friendly platforms. Our team of over 850 experts from 69 countries works tirelessly to transform intricate data into actionable strategies, ensuring our clients stay ahead in a dynamic market landscape. Join us to leverage cutting-edge innovation for impactful results and experience unparalleled support on your journey to success.

The Lead AI Engineer will build and lead Kpler's new AI Enablement crew, whose mission is to give every function in the company - from Engineering to People, IT, Customer Success, Legal, Finance, and the commercial teams - the tools, frameworks, and AI agents to work with AI at scale.

This is a hybrid leadership role: you set the technical direction and architecture for Kpler's internal AI tooling, stay hands-on on the most critical components, and manage a small crew (a Senior AI Engineer and an Engineer II to start), with the management scope expected to grow with the crew.

Your mission is to

  • Build, lead, and grow the AI Enablement crew — technical direction, delivery, and light people management (1:1s, growth, feedback), evolving toward a fuller management scope as the crew expands.
  • Own the architecture of Kpler's internal AI tooling: agents and assistants, shared frameworks, knowledge bases, and the integrations that connect them to company systems.
  • Deliver function-tailored AI solutions in close partnership with functional champions across departments, from discovery and workflow design through production deployment and iteration.
  • Drive the AI software factory for engineering: codify engineering standards and architectural principles into rules, skills, and agents, and raise the level of AI-assisted development across all crews.
  • Establish and enforce security guardrails and responsible-AI practices for connecting AI systems to core company systems (access control, data privacy, human-in-the-loop where it matters).
  • Stay hands-on: design, build, and ship critical components of the platform yourself.
  • Define and track success metrics for internal AI - adoption and usage, workflows automated, time savings and ROI - and report progress to engineering and executive stakeholders.
  • Grow AI capability across the company: champions network, sharing sessions, documentation, and enablement.
  • Contribute to hiring and onboarding for the crew and to Kpler's broader engineering hiring.

This could be a match if you have
Essential

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including designing and operating production systems end-to-end.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or Golang (other JVM languages considered).
  • Practical understanding of security, access control, and data-privacy constraints relating to AI systems.
  • Experience leading engineering projects as a tech lead, lead engineer, or engineering manager of a small team.
  • Hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered products, agents, or AI tooling to production (not just prototypes).
  • Integration-heavy engineering background: connecting products to third-party SaaS systems and internal data via APIs.
  • Strong stakeholder management with non-technical audiences; able to turn a business workflow into a deployable system.
  • Experience with systems integration across commercial SaaS platforms and internal services.
  • Exposure to Cloud environments (AWS preferred), CI/CD, and observability for production systems.

Desirable

  • Experience building internal tooling, platform, or enablement teams (DevEx, internal products).
  • Familiarity with agent frameworks, MCP-style tool interfaces, and multi-agent systems.
  • Experience with LLM evaluation, observability, and cost management of AI workloads.
  • Experience introducing AI-assisted development practices to engineering organisations.
  • Scale-up environment experience; comfort with ambiguity and building a function from scratch.

Vibe.co

Описание вакансии

About Vibe
At Vibe.co, we're reimagining how brands reach audiences in the age of streaming. We believe streaming TV is no longer just a brand awareness play, it's the next great performance marketing channel. We're building the infrastructure to unlock this $100B opportunity.

Vibe.co provides an Audience First Streaming TV Advertising solution for marketers to unlock TV as a growth channel. Our all-in-one solution combines hyper-targeted audience segmentation, AI-powered insights and recommendations, real-time campaign optimization, and incrementality measurement, giving brands of all sizes the precision and transparency they've come to expect from social and search, but on TV.

Trusted by over 10,000 brands, Vibe.co reaches more than 120 million households across 500+ apps and channels, delivering an average 250% return on ad spend and 20% sales lift. The company hit a $100 million revenue run rate in under two years, ranking among the ten fastest software companies to reach that milestone.

Vibe.co's investors include Hedosophia (an early backer of Spotify, Uber, and Airbnb), Elaia, Singular, QuantumLight (Revolut CEO Nik Storonsky's fund), and Illusian (Supercell CEO Ilkka Paananen's fund), as well as angel investors including Carolyn Everson, board member of The Walt Disney Company and Coca-Cola. Nirav Tolia, CEO of Nextdoor, sits on the company's board of directors.

Founded in 2022, Vibe.co is widely recognized as the category-defining platform in streaming TV advertising, bringing the power of Meta and Google-style performance marketing to the fastest-growing segment in media.

About The Role
Data isn't a support function at Vibe — it's the fuel behind every decision the platform makes, from which ad to show to how we measure its impact. You'll join the Data Platform team and lead the Identity squad, the group responsible for attaching every event Vibe observes to a real identity: the foundation for targeting, measurement, and the training data our models learn from. This is a player-coach role on a small, high-leverage team — you, a staff software engineer, and an ML engineer — and it exists because identity resolution at Vibe's scale has outgrown ad hoc ownership and needs someone who can both push the algorithms forward and set the technical direction. You'd want this job because you'll own one of the hardest, most consequential problems in the stack end to end; because you'll stay hands-on with clustering and entity resolution at real US scale rather than managing from a distance; and because you'll shape how identity evolves as the industry moves toward a privacy-first world.

What You'll Do

Technical Leadership

  • Set the technical direction and roadmap for Vibe's identity stack end to end
  • Design and build clustering algorithms and pipelines that resolve identity at US scale
  • Make architecture decisions that scale economically and quantify their impact
  • Anticipate scaling pain before it turns into an incident
  • Drive systematic improvements to identity resolution accuracy

Reliability, Scale & Cost

  • Build observability into identity pipelines with meaningful alerts and healthy SLOs
  • Profile and optimize compute and storage across Dagster, Spark, and Iceberg
  • Treat infrastructure spend as a first-class engineering concern

Expanding the Stack

  • Extend identity capabilities into richer audience construction and attribution
  • Build platform-level tooling so every team can resolve identity behind their events
  • Design identity approaches built for a privacy-first future

People & Partnership

  • Lead the squad's senior engineer through 1:1s, feedback, and career development
  • Represent identity in cross-team Data Platform roadmap decisions
  • Translate ambiguous stakeholder requests into concrete technical deliverables
  • Push back on requests where the right call is "not yet" or "not this way"

What You Need

  • 8+ years building and operating production ML or data systems, including leading technical work as a tech lead, staff engineer, or team lead
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale entity resolution, clustering, or graph problems, with the ability to own and challenge the algorithms themselves
  • Strong distributed-systems foundations across a modern orchestrator (e.g. Dagster), distributed compute (e.g. Spark), and large-scale storage (e.g. Iceberg)
  • A track record of building evaluation frameworks and using them to drive measurable algorithmic improvements
  • Experience managing performance and cost at genuinely large data scale
  • Strong cross-functional communication, with the ability to adjust detail level by audience and align stakeholders with conflicting priorities

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in streaming TV advertising or programmatic advertising

Our Values

At Vibe, we run on three values: Impact, Ambition, and Urgency. We tie every goal to a real business outcome, think 10x rather than settling for good enough, and move daily rather than waiting for perfect conditions.

You'll thrive here if you own outcomes without needing direction, default to action, and hold yourself to results, not effort.

This is a high-performance environment with high-performance rewards: you'll work alongside people who push you, with real ownership over hard problems in a market that's moving fast.

If that sounds like the best version of your career, we want to meet you.

Описание вакансии

Vestiaire Collective is the leading global platform for desirable pre-loved fashion and a pioneer in transforming how people consume fashion.

Our mission is simple: make circular fashion the norm, not the exception.

Through technology, expertise, and a highly engaged global community, we enable millions of people to buy and sell fashion in a more sustainable way.

Founded in Paris in 2009, Vestiaire Collective is now a globally scaled marketplace with offices in Paris, London, Berlin, New York, Singapore, and Ho Chi Minh City, and logistics hubs across Europe, Asia, and the US.

Today, we are a team of around 600 people from over 50 nationalities, united by a shared ambition: to drive meaningful change in the fashion industry.

Our values, Activism, Transparency, Dedication, Greatness, and Collective, shape how we build, collaborate, and grow every day.

About The Role
We are seeking a
Foundational Machine Learning Engineer
for a high-impact greenfield opportunity to build our MLOps infrastructure from the ground up at Vestiaire Collective. While driving our AI authentication initiatives (deploying multi-model approaches including computer vision for luxury product authentication and counterfeit detection) will be your immediate focus, your long-term mission will be to scale foundational architecture across the entire marketplace. You will expand our ML capabilities to power broader domains, primarily focusing on search and recommendation systems, with future expansions into dynamic pricing and marketing technologies. Acting as the bridge among Applied Science, Data Platform, and Backend Engineering, you will design robust, decoupled architectures and spearhead the MLOps strategy with our Director of Data, prioritizing system maintainability, engineering hygiene, and the reliable deployment of complex models, ensuring all our ML models across the board deliver high-throughput, low-latency business impact.

What You Will Do

  • Short-Term Impact (First 6 Months): Partner closely with the Operations squads and Data Scientists to accelerate ML and RAG prototypes into resilient, production-ready code. You will directly integrate with the team to deploy, optimize, and scale heavy-width CV and VLM models focused on fraud detection and luxury product authentication, immediately improving our trust and safety ecosystem.
  • Mid-Term Foundation (MLOps Lifecycle & Infrastructure): Lead the end-to-end foundational groundwork of our ML lifecycle by designing robust systems for Data & Feature Management, Model Tracking & Registry, and Model Serving & Monitoring. You will scale infrastructure by automating continuous retraining pipelines that handle diverse deployment cadences (from daily fraud detection to weekly recommendations), design resilient multi-model architectures, and critically evaluate the technical overhead and TCO of our in-house tools against enterprise-grade platforms to ensure long-term resilience.
  • Long-Term Vision (Centralizing 360-Degree MLE Capabilities): Act as a pioneer and cornerstone hire for the ML engineering discipline at Vestiaire Collective, setting the technical standards to help scale the AI/ML organization. You will transition into a centralized foundational role, moving beyond single-squad operations to mentor the team and provide horizontal ML infrastructure support to multiple domains, including Search, Discovery, Pricing, Marketing, and Data Platforms.

Who You Are
Must-Haves:

  • Experience: 5-8+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning Engineering, specifically focused on building and scaling MLOps infrastructure and productionizing ML systems.
  • Production Infrastructure: Proven expertise in deploying low-latency, high-throughput ML inference services (using FastAPI, TorchServe, Triton Inference Server, or Ray Serve) across both classical lightweight and heavy-width ML models (PyTorch/TensorFlow). Strong preference for AWS (EKS, EC2, SageMaker) / Snowflake and Open Source ecosystems over GCP/Azure.
  • MLOps & Pipelines: Deep experience building automated, continuous model retraining pipelines to handle concept drift (ranging from daily to weekly cycles). You have orchestrated decoupled, multi-model AI architectures using tools like Airflow, Kubeflow, or Metaflow, and possess strong expertise in model registry and tracking tools like MLflow or Weights & Biases.
  • Feature Stores: Hands-on experience evaluating, building, or extensively leveraging online (Redis, DynamoDB) and offline (Snowflake, S3) Feature Stores in a production environment. Familiarity with frameworks like Feast or custom dbt-based pipelines is highly valued.
  • Strategic Builder Mindset: You are an analytical builder who thinks long-term. You can successfully evaluate TCO for bespoke internal systems versus enterprise tools, anticipate technical liabilities, and design robust architectures that handle unpredictable peak traffic surges.
  • Collaboration & Engineering Hygiene: Strong cross-functional communication skills. You excel at translating complex ML prototypes into highly scalable production code backed by strict version control, rigorous testing, and CI/CD best practices, seamlessly connecting data science innovation with backend engineering execution.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Relevant Domain Expertise: Background in E-commerce, Single-SKU Marketplaces, Search & Recommendation, Trust & Safety, or Counterfeit Detection.
  • Vision, Edge & Optimization: Hands-on experience with Vector Databases, Visual RAG pipelines, deploying Deep Learning VLM models, and optimizing models for edge computing or low-latency inference (e.g., ONNX, TensorRT).

Infrastructure & Observability:
Advanced experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and data transformation workflows (dbt). Familiarity with setting up advanced monitoring for model performance, concept drift, and system health (Datadog, Prometheus).

What We Offer

  • Purpose-driven work at scale Join a company reshaping the fashion industry towards circularity, you directly contributes to reducing waste and extending the life of luxury items
  • High-impact scope & ownership Work on products used globally, where your decisions have immediate, measurable impact on millions of users across 70+ countries
  • A truly international environment Collaborate with a diverse team of 50+ nationalities across Paris, London, Berlin, New York, Singapore, and Ho Chi Minh City
  • Career acceleration in a fast-moving scale-up Take ownership early, grow fast, and shape your path, as an expert or a future leader
  • Learning & growth as a priority Dedicated budget, continuous feedback culture, and opportunities to work on cutting-edge topics (AI, marketplace dynamics, scalability, etc.)
  • Flexible ways of working Hybrid model (typically 2 days remote per week), with trust and autonomy at the core of how we operate
  • Give back through action 2 paid days per year to support a cause of your choice and actively contribute to positive impact beyond your day-to-day role
  • Competitive compensation & benefits Including bonus, health coverage, lunch vouchers, Gym-Pass, and additional legal perks depending on your location

Research shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds including women, people with disabilities, and other marginalized communities, are less likely to apply unless they meet 100% of the criteria.
At Vestiaire Collective, we believe diversity drives better decisions, stronger products, and more meaningful impact.
If this role excites you but your experience doesn’t align perfectly, we still encourage you to apply, your perspective could be exactly what we’re looking for.
Vestiaire Collective is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
