Metrology Engineer

What to Expect
We are seeking a talented Metrology Engineer who will be a part of the metrology lab in Athens.

What You'll Do* Develop and execute CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) programs for various mechanical parts and assemblies.

• Maintenance and calibration of measuring instruments - Verify and adjust measuring tools to ensure accurate results.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to metrology programs and equipment.
• Identify and assist in the design and implementation of jigs and fixtures for new product introductions.
• Train technicians in the proper use of metrology instruments.
• Contribute to and uphold all labs quality initiatives and programs.
• Work with various types of measuring equipment available within the group. This includes CMMs and OMMs.
• Identify and source measuring equipment to better meet the metrology requirements.
• Data analysis – parse measurement results to identify manufacturing defects.
• Collaborate with cross functional engineering teams for measurement strategies.
• Maintain documentation of measurement results according to Tesla standards.
  What You'll Bring* Experience in Quality and Metrology engineering.
• Proficient in using CMM machines and metrology equipment.
• Solid knowledge in GD&T.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering.
• Demonstrate innovation, technical excellence, attention to detail and self-direction.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
• English fluently in speaking, reading and writing.
