U potrazi smo za
sistem inženjerom za open source tehnologije (m/ž)
koji će raditi na održavanju, administraciji i unaprjeđenju mail sustava naših korisnika, kao i ostalih infrastrukturnih servisa baziranih na otvorenom kodu.

Što ćeš raditi?

• Administrirati i održavati mail sustave bazirane na open source tehnologijama
• Raditi s mail servisima i protokolima kao što su SMTP, IMAP i POP3
• Održavati i podešavati antispam, antivirus i mail security rješenja
• Analizirati i rješavati probleme s isporukom mailova, queueovima, relayima, blacklistama i reputacijom domena
• Raditi s DNS zapisima važnima za mail sustave, kao što su MX, SPF, DKIM i DMARC
• Pratiti logove, performanse i dostupnost mail sustava
• Sudjelovati u implementaciji promjena, nadogradnji i migracija mail okruženja
• Komunicirati s korisnicima, analizirati njihove zahtjeve i predlagati odgovarajuća tehnička rješenja
• Dokumentirati konfiguracije, procedure i promjene na sustavima
• Automatizirati ponavljajuće administrativne zadatke korištenjem Bash skripti, Ansiblea ili sličnih alata

Što očekujemo?
Idealno bi bilo da imaš iskustvo s dijelom sljedećih tehnologija i područja:

• Linux administracija, posebno Red Hat Enterprise Linux ili srodne distribucije
• Administracija mail sustava i razumijevanje mail flowa
• SMTP, IMAP, POP3, mail relay, mail queue i troubleshooting isporuke poruka
• DNS servisi i mail-related zapisi: MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC
• Antispam, antivirus i mail security tehnologije
• Standardni internetski servisi: DNS, Apache/NGINX, LDAP, Radius i slično
• Osnove skriptiranja i automatizacije kroz Bash, Ansible ili Python
• Praćenje sustava, analiza logova i rješavanje incidenata
• Rad s korisnicima i razumijevanje njihovih tehničkih zahtjeva

Nije preduvjet, ali dodatna je prednost ako poznaješ i druge open source tehnologije kao što su HAProxy, virtualizacija, Ceph, GlusterFS, Kubernetes ili Red Hat OpenShift.

Također, prednost je ako posjeduješ neki od Red Hat Linux certifikata, primjerice RHCSA, RHCE ili certifikate vezane uz Red Hat OpenShift.

Join Transcom as an IT Global Systems Engineer!

Be on the front line by being responsible for globally supporting the company’s server and systems infrastructure.

In this role, you will:

• Support and maintain existing platforms through proactive and reactive maintenance
• Investigate solution improvements and new projects

To be successful in this role, the following is needed:

• Experience in an extensive range of technologies including Microsoft Windows (Server 2016, 2019), Active Directory(2016), VMware (5.0 and higher), HyperV
• Additionally in Linux, scripting, SQL, IIS, Web proxy/filtering system (Squid, ISA, or cloud based solutions), Antivirus Systems, PCI, IT Security standards such as PCI, SOC2, ISO27001 etc., GPO, DNS, DHCP, networking, storage devices (SAN, NAS, iSCSI, NFS, Fiber channel, Synology, RAID) , Cloud computing and more
• Intensive and proven troubleshooting skills
• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 7 years equivalent work experience
• Strong customer service orientation and sense of urgency
• Highly self-motivated
• Fluency in English is a must (both written and spoken)
• Experience gained working in a Call Centre / BPO or similarly high pressure and results driven environment

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to operate far beyond the scope of a single team or service. Working directly with senior engineering leadership, you will tackle large, cross-area technical challenges that impact dozens — sometimes hundreds — of services across the platform. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on complex systems, ambiguous problems, and consequential architectural decisions that shape how our platform scales and evolves.

What The Role Involves

• Collaborate with engineering leadership and teams to design and implement scalable, robust software solutions
• Analyse complex system challenges and develop clear strategies for improving architecture, scalability, and platform efficiency
• Drive large cross-team initiatives from concept to execution, influencing decisions and aligning multiple teams
• Enhance system automation across scale, resiliency, and deployment
• Build and improve core platform components and shared libraries (AWS, Go, Erlang, Kafka) used across the organisation
• Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand and drive improvements across the platform
• Build on our cloud-native platform, enabling greater use of AWS technology to accelerate delivery, scale, and resiliency
• Grow the engineering community, elevating standards and helping teams operate more efficiently

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in a large-scale production environment
• Experience designing and implementing solutions at an organisational level, impacting multiple teams or tribes
• Proven track record engineering high-quality, highly scalable software
• Strong system design fundamentals, particularly in distributed systems
• Ability to analyse complex technical problems and develop clear strategies
• Comfort working in ambiguous, high-impact problem spaces
• A willingness to learn new technologies (we are working with Golang, Erlang)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical direction across teams
• A passion for creating user-centric, data-driven solutions

Software Test Engineer (m/ž/d)
starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, implementing, developing, and maintaining software-based test solutions for our real-time AI/ML image processing systems
• Continuously ameliorate SW-QA processes by enhancing the process requirements and metrics
• Ensure the optimization of the software tool chain to provide the best possible environment for our development team
• Collaborate with our cross-functional teams to perform software risk management
• Implement automated integration and system tests
• Analyze software problems and propose solutions together with our cross-functional team

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics or a similar field, or vocational training as an IT specialist
• Proficient with programming languages and bring excellent knowledge of Python
• Familiar with Linux environments
• Experience in integrating automated tests into a test framework
• First-hand experience with GitLab pipelines, Docker, and Pytest preferred
• ISTQB certification is a plus
• Fluent in English
