Production Engineering Specialist (f/m/x)

We are looking for a skilled Senior Linux Administrator to join our Production Support Team in the Payments IT department. You will be responsible for supporting the application processing of SEPA classic and instant payments, working in a mission-critical environment based on Site Reliability Engineering principles. This dynamic role requires collaboration with various stakeholders across the globe and offers the opportunity to work with progressive technologies. Your tasks

• Providing full scope of day-to-day Production Support services, including resolving live incidents and managing post-resolution problems
• Offering technical expertise to identify root causes of major system issues
• Implementing locally developed solutions using Bash and SQL
• Supporting various testing activities related to new implementations
• Collaborating closely with stakeholders located worldwide
• Reviewing, designing, and re-engineering processes with new technologies to enhance performance
• Participating in weekend change releases, application code deployments, and technical component patches and upgrades
• Contributing to data validation, development, implementation, and testing activities
• Actively contributing to team objectives by supporting and occasionally leading activities to achieve shared goals

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Linux administration
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes and SQL
• Hands-on experience with Bash Shell scripting
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced level of English

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Python
