Senior AI Engineer - Data Platforms

We're looking for a
Senior AI Engineer
to join our team in Nicosia, Cyprus, in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will act as the bridge between data science experimentation and enterprise-grade production systems. You will focus on transforming AI models into scalable, reliable and well-governed solutions that integrate seamlessly into business workflows. This position offers an opportunity to work on large-scale AI transformation initiatives, embedding intelligence across end-to-end operations and driving innovation in a global data ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI workflows combining models, enterprise data, tools and business logic
• Develop and maintain prompt engineering strategies, including testing and optimization
• Implement orchestration layers for multi-step reasoning, decisioning and action execution
• Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise systems, APIs and user interfaces
• Apply guardrails to ensure explainable, safe, and compliant AI behavior
• Build and maintain production-grade AI deployment pipelines ensuring reliability and scalability
• Implement observability for AI systems focusing on usage, performance and drift monitoring
• Ensure operational excellence through versioning, rollback, release management and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with data scientists, actuaries and business stakeholders to validate model outputs

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on AI engineering or similar roles
• Strong foundation in designing and deploying AI workflows in production environments
• Hands-on experience with MLOps, CI/CD for ML and orchestration tools
• Proficiency in orchestrating multi-step workflows and integrating AI with enterprise services
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability practices for AI/ML systems
• Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages and experience with AI-related libraries
• Understanding of cloud environments and cost optimization strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work in cross-functional teams
• Fluency in English
