Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a
Senior DevOps Engineer
with Azure expertise to join the project from the insurance domain.

Please note that this position requires working from the office in Bratislava 2–3 days per week.

 

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain cloud-based solutions that leverage Microsoft Azure services
• Deploy and orchestrate containerized applications through platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Implement and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with modern automation tools
• Develop scripts and automation workflows that use suitable programming or scripting languages
• Oversee system health, proactively monitor performance and resolve technical issues with specialized monitoring solutions
• Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure clear and effective communication

Requirements

• Solid hands-on experience with Azure services, including AKS, API Management, Virtual Machines, cloud databases, networking, VPNs, serverless computing and identity/access management
• Proficient understanding of container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• In-depth knowledge of the software development lifecycle, as well as CI/CD methodologies
• Knowledge of CI/CD workflows
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code
• Strong scripting and programming skills for automation tasks (e.g., Bash, Python, Go, PowerShell, Java, .NET or comparable languages)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
