YOUR MISSION
Join us as a Supply Operation Analyst and become a key member of Glovo's local Ops team! You'll play a crucial role in leveraging data to optimize our partner ecosystem, driving efficiency and improving overall performance. THE JOURNEY

• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and pain points within supply operations, focusing on metrics like order delivery time, courier dispatch time, partner preparation time, partner acceptance time, and customer ratings.
• Generate actionable insights from complex datasets to inform strategic decisions and operational improvements for our couriers and partners.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics related to supply operational performance.
• Identify and communicate important insights to relevant stakeholders, influencing changes that enhance supply and partner efficiency and satisfaction.
• Utilize data to support the establishment of excellent relationships with Glovo’s partners and couriers, demonstrating data-backed value and building engagement.
• Work alongside and communicate effectively with all other teams involved in operations success to ensure a data-driven approach.

Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

• You're passionate about diving deep into data, identifying root causes, and extracting meaningful insights.
• You're comfortable working with KPIs and OKRs, and you have a proven track record of using data to drive decisions.
• Intermediate level skills in Google Spreadsheets/Excel are a must.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and the ability to apply it in practical scenarios.
• Experience with Looker or similar platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable.
• You can clearly articulate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• You are independent and take initiative in identifying and pursuing analytical opportunities.

Technical Skills:

Strong programming background with minimum 10+ years’ experience in developing highly scalable and efficient applications using Java, JavaScript, node.js, TypeScript or equivalent.

Observability and insights. leveraging tools like openTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana or equivalent toolsets.

Documentation as code leveraging tools like Backstage.io and variety of plugins tapping into Github source repositories, and read.me files.

Agile methods

Data Engineer (Fivetran HVR)

The Data Engineer (Fivetran HVR) is responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise data integration and replication solutions using Fivetran HVR (High Volume Replication). This role enables reliable, secure, and near real-time movement of data across heterogeneous environments, supporting modern analytics, reporting, cloud migration, and data platform initiatives.

The engineer works closely with business, application, database, cloud, and analytics teams to build scalable data pipelines, ensure data quality and consistency, and support enterprise-wide data modernization programs.

• Collaborate with Data Architects, Application Teams, DBAs, Cloud Engineers, and Business Analysts.

• Perform root cause analysis for data integration incidents and implement long-term corrective actions.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, ETL/ELT Development, or Data Platform Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Fivetran HVR administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of Change Data Capture (CDC), replication concepts, and enterprise data integration patterns.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large-scale relational databases.
• Experience building and supporting cloud-based data platforms and analytics solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and scripting for automation and data processing.
• Experience with Azure, Databricks or similar modern data platforms.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale production environments and critical business data pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of DataOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation practices.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and dimensional design.
• Familiarity with SAP source systems and enterprise application integrations.
