We are looking for an

Application Support Engineer

to join our

Implementation & Support Team

. The role is hybrid, requiring 2 days a week in our Sarıyer/Istanbul office.

How will be your day like;

• Participate in the day-to-day administration/management activities of application
• Participate implementation, upgrade & patch installation activities of application
• Identify problems and participate in problem management by collecting necessary logs
• Collaborate with development team for testing of our own-developed applications
• Participate in remote or on-site support services to our customers
• Performing regular health checks
• Helping disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP) solutions

 

Professional skills and knowledge:

• Relevant bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supporting multi-tiered applications
• Excellent knowledge of IP networking fundamentals
• Excellent knowledge of Windows Server operating systems
• Microsoft IIS Server Administration knowledge
• Good working knowledge of SQL Database Administration
• UNIX / Linux operating systems knowledge will be an asset
• Languages: Fluent in English
• Prior knowledge of

SWIFT

is not required, as technical training will be provided.

Job Description

We are looking for a
Technical Support Engineer (Level 2)
. In our Operations team, you will safeguard our proprietary trading platforms through proactive monitoring and real-time incident resolution, for our partner companies. We are looking for teammates who take initiative, identify operational gaps, and actively bring solutions to the table.

We expect the
Technical Support Engineer (Level 2) to:

• Proactive monitoring of our proprietary trading platforms
• Identifying key challenges and gaps and providing solutions
• Registration and resolution of service requests, incidents and problems arising from monitoring or from complaints/issues raised by our partner companies
• Assistance to DevOps, Developer and QA engineer teams
• Communicating with client and partner company representatives, provide aid as needed
• Knowledge exchange with fellow colleagues

Qualifications

Must-have skills:

• UNIX/Linux training (Ubuntu, RHEL will be a plus)
• Experience in Unix/Linux command line and Linux systems
• Basic knowledge of shell script languages awk, perl, etc.
• Strong analysis, investigation and troubleshooting skills
• Good command of written and spoken English language

Nice-to-have skills:

• Job experience in Linux environment
• Understanding of ITIL/DevOps processes and routines
• Experience with SQL-like command language
• Knowledge of Java programming language
• Experience with trading/exchange/risk management software usage
• Knowledge on brokerages, financial systems and banking
• Experience in monitoring systems like elastic stack, zabbix
• Experience with Atlassian software (JIRA, Confluence, FishEye, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our performance marketing team. As a Software Engineer, you will modify and iterate on the gameplay to create playable ads. You will need to be creative to make games as attractive as possible for the advertising campaigns and take on considerable ownership and responsibility. You will work closely with marketing managers and artists to create playable ads that millions of people will play worldwide.
