Join us as a Release Delivery Manager (m/f/d) Transformer Monitoring, where you will be the central coordinating force driving the success of our release processes. Imagine guiding initiatives through meticulous planning, readiness checks, and approvals, ensuring that every release aligns with our strategic portfolio priorities. You will collaborate closely with development teams, validation, cybersecurity, architecture, and product management to prepare each release for deployment. Your role is pivotal in orchestrating cross-portfolio efforts, aligning stakeholders, and making clear decisions that enhance the strategic direction of the Transformer Digitalization Portfolio, ultimately delivering high-impact solutions for our customers.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Coordinate and oversee end-to-end release activities across the Transformer Digitalization Portfolio, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Lead structured planning cycles, readiness reviews, quality gates, and approval workflows for transparent release delivery.
• Facilitate strong alignment between development, validation, cybersecurity, architecture, commercialization, and product management teams.
• Apply Agile and SAFe principles to optimize release cadence, improve collaboration, and support iterative, value-based delivery.
• Promote continuous improvement by standardizing release processes and enhancing communication flows across teams.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in release management, program delivery, and multi-team coordination within digital or technology-driven environments.
• Strong skills in agile methodologies, including iterative delivery and structured prioritization.
• Familiarity with the SAFe Framework and experience in PI Planning and portfolio-level alignment.
• Excellent coordination, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholder groups effectively.

What we expect:

• Technical University degree or high-school degree with relevant experience
• At least 3 years of experience working on similar jobs

To be successful in this role, the following is needed:

• Experience in an extensive range of technologies including Microsoft Windows (Server 2016, 2019), Active Directory(2016), VMware (5.0 and higher), HyperV
• Additionally in Linux, scripting, SQL, IIS, Web proxy/filtering system (Squid, ISA, or cloud based solutions), Antivirus Systems, PCI, IT Security standards such as PCI, SOC2, ISO27001 etc., GPO, DNS, DHCP, networking, storage devices (SAN, NAS, iSCSI, NFS, Fiber channel, Synology, RAID) , Cloud computing and more
• Intensive and proven troubleshooting skills
• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 7 years equivalent work experience
• Strong customer service orientation and sense of urgency

What The Role Involves

• Collaborate with engineering leadership and teams to design and implement scalable, robust software solutions
• Analyse complex system challenges and develop clear strategies for improving architecture, scalability, and platform efficiency
• Drive large cross-team initiatives from concept to execution, influencing decisions and aligning multiple teams
• Enhance system automation across scale, resiliency, and deployment
• Build and improve core platform components and shared libraries (AWS, Go, Erlang, Kafka) used across the organisation
• Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand and drive improvements across the platform
• Build on our cloud-native platform, enabling greater use of AWS technology to accelerate delivery, scale, and resiliency
• Grow the engineering community, elevating standards and helping teams operate more efficiently

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in a large-scale production environment
• Experience designing and implementing solutions at an organisational level, impacting multiple teams or tribes
• Proven track record engineering high-quality, highly scalable software
• Strong system design fundamentals, particularly in distributed systems
• Ability to analyse complex technical problems and develop clear strategies
• Comfort working in ambiguous, high-impact problem spaces
• A willingness to learn new technologies (we are working with Golang, Erlang)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical direction across teams
• A passion for creating user-centric, data-driven solutions
