About Ping Identity
At Ping Identity, we believe in making digital experiences both secure and seamless for all users, without compromise. We call this digital freedom. And it's not just something we provide our customers. It's something that inspires our company. People don't come here to join a culture that's built on digital freedom. They come to cultivate it.

Our intelligent, cloud identity platform lets people shop, work, bank, and interact wherever and however they want. Without friction. Without fear.

While protecting digital identities is at the core of our technology, protecting individual identities is at the core of our culture. We champion every identity. One of our core values, Respect Individuality, reminds us to celebrate differences so you are empowered to bring your authentic self to work.

We're headquartered in Denver, Colorado and we have offices and employees around the globe. We serve the largest, most demanding enterprises worldwide, including more than half of the Fortune 100. At Ping Identity, we're changing the way people and businesses think about cybersecurity, digital experiences, and identity and access management.

We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the Recognize Platform team at Ping Identity. Reporting to the Senior SRE Manager, you will own the infrastructure that powers Ping's authentication and authorization services across production EKS clusters globally. Working within a small, senior team of 3 engineers, you'll have high ownership, short feedback loops, and direct impact on mission-critical identity infrastructure. If you're passionate about GitOps, automation, and using AI agents to push engineering velocity forward, this is the role for you.

You Will

  • Drive deployment automation across production and test EKS clusters using GitOps (Flux/ArgoCD)
  • Take ownership of infrastructure requirements and coordinate the maintenance backlog
  • Collaborate closely with delivery engineers, product owners, and software developers across teams
  • Build and maintain a scalable, automated platform foundation across production and development environments
  • Integrate and extend AI agents to accelerate internal engineering workflows — from incident triage to deployment pipelines
  • Contribute to identity-focused platform infrastructure, supporting Ping's authentication and authorization services

You Have

  • Proven professional experience as an SRE/DevOps Engineer
  • Solid experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management (Helm, Terraform, Crossplane)
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Istio, and Flux (GitOps workflows)
  • Hands-on experience deploying and operating container workloads on EKS
  • Experience building operational awareness through monitoring and alerting (New Relic, Splunk, PagerDuty)
  • Active use of AI agents and LLM-based tooling in daily engineering work — we expect candidates to already be integrating these tools and be curious about pushing them further
  • Familiarity with secrets management best practices — SOPS and AWS KMS in particular
  • Practical knowledge of CI/CD tools, ideally CircleCI

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience building or extending internal AI agents (prompt engineering, tool integrations, agentic workflows)
  • Working knowledge of Python or Go for scripting and tooling
  • Background in identity and security infrastructure — OAuth 2.0, SAML, zero-trust, mTLS
  • Familiarity with Ping Identity products or the broader identity/authentication space
  • Timezone compatible with CET/European working hours

Life At Ping
