We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Senior Software Engineer in Equity Structured Products Trading, who will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, solution design, development, testing, and support of applications.

In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Director Software Engineering role, which is part of the job family responsible for creating front-to-back solutions for capturing and processing complex equity derivative product data.

What You'll Do In The Role

  • Perform daily hands-on software development and deliver high-quality code.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Perform daily hands-on software development, writing high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code using modern engineering practices.
  • Design, develop, and enhance new and existing applications and components that support the Equity Structured Products Trading business.
  • Investigate production and non-production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement robust solutions to improve system stability, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with traders, business users, business analysts, and fellow engineers to understand requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.
  • Work closely with a globally distributed development team across New York, London, Budapest, Bangalore, Mumbai, and Hong Kong.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, resilient, and loosely coupled distributed systems.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions while promoting engineering best practices.
  • Support Agile development processes and DevOps principles, taking ownership of software quality and operational excellence.
  • Continuously improve existing systems, identify optimization opportunities, and contribute to the strategic evolution of the platform.

What You'll Bring To The Role

  • 5+ years of software development experience with Java and other JVM-based technologies, preferably in a multinational or global organization.
  • Experience with Scala or a strong desire and aptitude to learn and work with Scala.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, distributed systems, and modern software engineering principles.
  • Proven experience designing and developing scalable systems composed of loosely coupled and interoperable components.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience working within Agile development environments.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and production support activities.
  • Interest in financial markets and the technology that powers trading businesses.

What you're going to do
Software engineering is being reimagined around AI agents that do the work under human direction. Become part of this journey and help build the platform that helps our engineers deliver better software to our clients while keeping quality, security and governance at enterprise level.

As our AI Platform Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping this platform from the ground up. You'll combine platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, and software delivery expertise to build, operate and continuously improve the internal platform that powers AI-native software delivery.

You will ensure that AI-native development remains secure, observable, cost-efficient, and governed by engineering best practices so that humans stay accountable and in control.

This is a hands-on role with broad ownership in a strategic initiative shaping internal engineering practices and future client offerings. You'll work closely with engineering teams, evaluate new AI capabilities, support internal adoption and help turn technical innovation into value for our customers.

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Designing, implementing, operating, and evolving the AI-Native Software Factory platform
  • Establishing and maintaining quality gates, testing, and verification mechanisms
  • Curating engineering standards, templates, architecture guidelines, and agent context
  • Operating observability, security controls, and policy guardrailsManaging platform configuration, LLM access, and cost transparency
  • Supporting project onboarding and ensuring secure project isolation
  • Driving continuous improvement through telemetry, reliability, and delivery metrics

What we're looking for

  • Strong experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and infrastructure-as-code (eg. Terraform)
  • Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or comparable container platforms
  • Experience with observability, reliability engineering, and incident management
  • Understanding of software delivery lifecycle, quality engineering, and automated testing
  • Knowledge of security best practices, identity management, and secrets handling
  • Innovation mindset with the ability to handle uncertainty and changing requirements
  • Keeping up and experimenting with the latest AI technologies

SENIOR IT ENGINEER, DIGITAL WORKPLACE TECHNOLOGIES
Essential Functions And Responsibilities

  • We are looking for a highly skilled System Administrator/Engineer with solid hands-on experience in managing large user and computer systems and mobile devices in a Microsoft hybrid cloud environment
  • Architect, design, and deploy complex end user enterprise solutions in a globally distributed environment.
  • Setting up processes for managing the end user device lifecycle, setting up device and application standards, improving and automating the provisioning of devices and applications
  • Automating the onboarding and offboarding processes and managing device security baselines for all end user devices
  • Collaborate with external vendors, suppliers, technical experts
  • Translate technology concepts into business requirements, develop documentation and operational solutions where applicable,
  • Provide ongoing operational support, including emergency assistance during off-hours

Minimum Qualifications

  • BSc in Engineering, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology
  • 5 years of progressive technical experience, 2 years of experience as a system architect
  • Managed and utilized an ITSM Platform, Identity and Endpoint Management technologies such as ServiceNow Microsoft365, Intune
  • Familiarity with device lifecycle management of Windows and Android, IOS, and systems management in Intune, and SCCM or Baramundi, including Windows, IOS, Android, Linux
  • Writing and applying Conditional Access Policies for PCs and mobile assets, as well as application deployment and PowerShell and Bash scripting
  • Strong documentation skills with a demonstrated ability to drive and maintain standardization and consistency in operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong presentation skills, comfortable using pivot tables and ServiceNow toolsets
  • Automotive experience is nice to have

Role Overview

This role focuses on shaping and evolving greehill’s end-to-end technology architecture, especially around large-scale data processing, cloud platforms, and AI/ML systems.

The position is key to ensuring the platform can handle high-volume data efficiently -ingesting, processing, and delivering it in a scalable, reliable, and cost-effective way across global operations. It connects product, data, and engineering, turning complex business and analytical needs into practical, maintainable system designs.

The role also drives architectural consistency, supports platform growth, improves performance, and reduces operational complexity as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Platform

  • Design and evolve end-to-end architecture across data ingestion, processing, storage, and delivery
  • Define scalable data pipelines and batch or near real-time workflows
  • Establish efficient data models, storage strategies, and access patterns
  • Design systems for large-scale data growth and high processing workloads
  • Define and refine cloud architecture across compute, storage, and networking
  • Leverage cloud-native services and support capacity planning for peak demand
  • Balance performance, reliability, and cost efficiency

Performance, Reliability & Delivery

  • Optimize compute, storage, and data transfer costs
  • Improve throughput and eliminate bottlenecks across pipelines and infrastructure
  • Establish standards for observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting
  • Improve system resilience, fault tolerance, and recovery
  • Support incident analysis and continuous improvement
  • Define architectural principles, standards, and best practices
  • Lead design reviews and drive consistency across systems
  • Ensure documentation and knowledge sharing are maintained
  • Collaborate with data, ML, DevOps, and product teams
  • Support planning, estimation, and technical decision-making
  • Guide implementation and act as an escalation point for complex issues

Required Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years in system architecture, solution design, or senior engineering roles
  • Experience with large-scale data platforms and distributed systems
  • Strong cloud expertise (AWS, Azure)
  • Experience with batch and streaming data pipelines
  • Solid understanding of microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures
  • Strong focus on scalability, performance, and cost optimization
  • Exposure to high-volume data domains (e.g., geospatial, LiDAR) is a plus

As our new Lead Cloud Engineer, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to design, implement, and

operate

secure, scalable, and automated cloud infrastructure on AWS - within a strictly regulated banking environment. You will take a leading role in architecting and delivering AWS Landing Zone solutions, ensuring infrastructure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as DORA and PCI-DSS. With your solution-oriented mindset and deep

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Design and implement AWS Landing Zone architecture (Control Tower, Account Factory, Organizations, SCPs) aligned with enterprise and regulatory requirements (

  • Build and 

operate

 secure AWS networking solutions, including VPCs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect/VPN, hybrid connectivity, and DNS resolution (Route 53 Resolver)

  • Implement identity, access, and privileged access management (IAM, RBAC/ABAC, IAM Identity Center, Entra ID federation, JIT access, PAW, least privilege)
  • Develop and 

maintain

 modular, reusable Infrastructure as Code using Terraform

  • Build, 

optimize

, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions

  • Configure and 

operate

 AWS security and compliance services (Security Hub, 

GuardDuty

, AWS Config, CloudTrail, IAM Access Analyzer)

  • Maintain documentation, share knowledge across teams, and support platform reliability including participation in on-call rotation

Job Requirements

  • Willingness to work in the office for three days (as per client requirements)
  • Proven experience designing and operating AWS environments within regulated industries (

e.g.

 banking), with awareness of frameworks such as DORA, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001

  • Strong 

expertise

 in AWS networking and landing zone design, including VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, Route 53 Resolver, Network Firewall, and Control Tower

  • Deep knowledge of identity and access management, including IAM (RBAC/ABAC, SCPs, Permission Boundaries), IAM Identity Center, and Entra ID federation via SAML/OIDC
  • Practical experience implementing privileged access management principles such as Just-in-Time access, least privilege, and auditability
  • Advanced skills in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (modular design, remote state; 

Terragrunt

 is a plus)

  • Hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Git-based tools such as Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
