We're looking for a motivated and experienced
Mid/Senior .NET Developer
to join our team. In this role, you'll design and build the backend systems behind our products – writing clean, scalable code, solving real problems in production, and shipping features that reach millions of users across the EU.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
• Remain up to date with the terminology, new technologies, concepts and best practices
• Review your colleagues' code – and get yours reviewed too
• Participate in defining, designing and creating new product functionalities with the team
• Solve problems in the regular operation of the product in order to improve performance
• Test and deploy – results of your work are quickly visible to millions of users
• Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to:

• working with relational databases (MSSQL) and ORM (EF/EF Core)
• writing unit tests
• basic understanding of frontend frameworks, AngularJS is preferable
• experience with DevOps and CI/CD processes is an advantage

Qualifications You Bring

• 3+ years of professional .NET development experience, with deep knowledge of .NET Core / .NET Framework
• Solid understanding of backend architecture patterns, microservices, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous processing
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling challenges
• Familiarity with distributed systems, messaging platforms (e.g. Azure Service Bus), and event-driven architectures
• Understanding of observability concepts (logging, tracing, metrics) and tools like New Relic, Seq, or similar
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to thrive in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable solutions focusing on user satisfaction

What The Role Involves

• Collaborate closely with geographically distributed engineering teams to design and implement scalable and robust software solutions
• Enhance the existing platform to increase the amount of business functionality driven by end-user configuration
• Enhance system automation across scale, resiliency, and deployment
• Maintain, enhance, and create common platform components and libraries (AWS, Erlang, Go, Kafka)
• Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the wider organisation to understand and drive requirements and improvements across the platform
• Build on our cloud-native platform, enabling greater use of AWS technology to accelerate delivery, scale, and resiliency
• Build on our observability tooling and infrastructure to better understand the capabilities of our systems
• Lead initiatives and tasks, driving them to completion and championing continuous improvement to enhance team productivity and efficiency
• Grow the engineering community by building on existing processes and practices

What We Are Looking For

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a large-scale production environment
• Experience engineering high-quality, highly scalable software in any object-oriented or functional language
• Experience working with distributed systems
• Experience building and improving upon observability
• A talent for clean coding, simple solutions, automated testing, and continuous deployment
• A passion for working in the cloud and automation
• A passion for creating user-centric, data-driven solutions
• A willingness to learn new technologies

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS (CloudFormation, MSK, S3, Cognito, etc.)
• Knowledge of Kafka
• An interest in functional programming
• Front-end development experience in React

What you’ll do:

• Work independently on software solution implementation projects, and as needed, on the maintenance of delivered software solutions.
• Collaborate with other team members throughout all phases of project execution, with a focus on development and maintenance.

Designing, building and implementing functionalities on a service-oriented architecture (SOA) platform
