Senior Systems Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Build and lead operations and development teams for high-availability AWS services
• Contribute to the smooth operation of the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC)
• Collaborate with global AWS teams and influence service evolution
• Enhance day-to-day operations for availability, reliability, latency, and efficiency
• Participate in on-call rotations to resolve incidents
• Deliver scalable services and ensure a high-availability experience for EU customers

What You'll Need

• Experience in Python, Perl, or another scripting language
• Systems engineering experience with hardware, software, networking, and operating systems
• Expertise in Linux and networking, with advanced system diagnostics and issue resolution
• Proven ability to lead the creation and improvement of standard operational procedures (SOPs)
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Must be a national of an EU member state
