Job Description
The Site Reliability Engineer takes care of the uptime of Experian Platforms Software: ExperianOne – Experian's Cloud SaaS offering for Decision Analytics and Fraud specific platforms.

In this role you will report to the Site Reliability Engineering Manager.

What You Will Do

  • You will spot problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Partner with development teams or equivalent to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures.
  • Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a view of system health.
  • Make monitoring and alerting notify on symptoms and not on outages.
  • Efficiently triage issues and find owners for problem resolution.
  • Identify and resolve root causes, replacing manual steps with sustainable solutions.
  • Lead and supports coordinated incident response to restore service availability.
  • Write complex queries using various tools.
  • Maintain strong relationships with other members of the Regional SRE teams and also with Global SRE team around the globe.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and third parties who support backing applications.
  • Collaborate with developers, security and architects to build and improve maintainable solutions.
  • Maintaining the systems - edge cases, failure modes, behaviours, specific implementations.

Oncall duty during daytime on weekends once a month or less.

Qualifications
What you'll bring:

  • Excellent level of English with colleagues across the globe.
  • 1+ years of experience as a Site reliability engineer.
  • Written and verbal fluency in English.
  • Working across boundaries - geographically, teams, language and cultural .
  • Quickly adapts to new tools, frameworks, and methodologies through hands-on experimentation and learning.
  • Cloud aware - you understand how cloud technologies differ from other technical approaches and are able to explain these to others.
  • Understanding of Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, High availability principles
  • Direct experience of supporting complex, highly scaled systems in production
  • Linux knowledge, troubleshooting and predicting issues in advance.
  • Networking, troubleshooting and monitoring.
  • Cloud Native application designs for scalability and resilience.
  • Incident Management and co-ordination, Blameless PIRs
  • Kubernetes, EKS, Splunk, Dynatrace, Thousand Eyes, ServiceNow, Jira, Jenkins, Python.
  • Java, Cassandra, Redis, Apigee, Okta, Postgres, AWS/Azure/GCP.
  • Infrastructure as Code, Git Ops.

In a typical day as a
Cyber Security Solution Architect
you will

  • Act as Senior Consultant who analyses and develops recommendations and solutions for client's external enterprise customers.
  • Regularly lead in the technical assessments and delivery of cyber security technical solutions with customers.
  • Often act as a team lead responsible for a team structure conducive to high performance and ensuring high quality deliverables on time and in scope.
  • Provide advanced security consulting and advice to internal teams on proposal efforts, solution design, operations management, tuning and modification of solutions.
  • Respond to requests for technical and architectural information from customers and from internal cross-geo requests.
  • Engage in technical problem solving across multiple security technologies; often needs to develop new methods to apply to the situation.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing within a community (e.g., team, practice, or project). Ensures team members support knowledge sharing and re-use requirements of project. Contributes significant knowledge to job family community.
  • Create security architectures, implement solutions at the customers, cooperate with country delivery resources, support sales activities, and act as security advisor for big accounts.

Your Profile

  • 10+ years of experience on a similar position
  • Obtained at least the Bachelor University degree; having an MBA degree will be considered an advantage
  • Owns at lease a local security clearance and is willing to extend to higher levels
  • Candidate should have at least one of the following certifications – CISSP, CISM, CCISO.
  • Strong knowledge and project experience on at least 4 of the following areas: Cloud and data centre security, AI Security, network security, identity & access management, security operations and incident management and data security including encryption & PKI. Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery is a plus.
  • Has depth and breadth of technical and architectural knowledge to collect and validate customer requirements, scope, propose, design, and implement multiple security deliverables across multiple security domains covering edge, cloud, and AI. Possesses an understanding, at a broad and detailed level, of architectural dependencies of technologies in use in the customer's IT environment and has experience with architecture modelling methodologies such as TOGAF.
  • Experience with different industry standards like ISO27001, NIST, GDPR, NIS2, … and how to implement them.
  • Experience with different security tools/vendors like Nexus (DA and PKI), CyberArk, ArcSight, KeyCloak, Thales, Okta, Splunk. Elastic, CrowdStrike, Owl, Qualys
  • Customer focus and ability to demonstrate broad understanding of market dynamics, and commercial issues.
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external senior management (C-level) confidently and professionally, breakdown and communicate complex concepts and issues into easily consumable written and verbal communications, and ability to present within own area of expertise as part of a customer sales presentation, putting forward domain-specific information within the context of the company strategy and focus
  • High level of autonomy under general direction, and ability to independently complete, as well as lead team in the delivery of complex projects with multiple deliverables and technologies. Can demonstrate innovation and thought leadership through problem solving, new ideas, experience, or forward-thinking concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel, also across the countries (%50 travel is required)

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Messaging Value Stream Agile Master.
  • Provide second-line support for SMS, MMS, and SMS Firewall services.
  • Review internal and external operational processes in order to optimize repair efficiency.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and follow up on the implementation of improvement actions.
  • Be ready to lead the repair team squad by managing, steering, and coordinating team activities when required.
  • Follow up on network and service availability and quality, performing proactive and reactive maintenance actions.
  • Work closely with the Customer Care team to identify and resolve problems reported by customers.
  • Perform incident management activities as well as planned works.
  • Cooperate with vendors, monitor their performance, and ensure proper service delivery.
  • Participate in the implementation of new services and network rollout projects, in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Take part in guard duty services.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in telecom, mainly in Messaging, Signaling, or Roaming areas (mobile telecommunications or international carrier telecom).
  • Familiarity with Telecom technologies and ITU/ETSI standards.
  • Good knowledge of SS7 / SIGTRAN, LTE, GSM call flows, and roaming scenarios.
  • Good operational knowledge of Linux.
  • Upper-intermediate level of English

Will be an advantage

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or ICT.
  • Experience with HTTPS (APIs), MMS, Kibana, or Openmind software.
  • Familiarity with DevOps concepts and tools (containers, Ansible, CI/CD, Splunk, Kubernetes, AWS, etc).
  • Knowledge of Docker.
  • Experience with IT tools and scripting, such as Splunk or Python.

What You'll Do

  • Support the delivery and adoption of the Strategic Partner Framework (SPF) across technology teams.
  • Drive operational excellence, ensuring partner services align with the Technology Blueprint and workforce strategy.
  • Monitor service performance, KPIs, and delivery outcomes, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Build strong relationships between strategic partners and internal technology teams.
  • Facilitate service governance and performance review meetings.
  • Support escalation management and help resolve operational issues across suppliers and internal teams.
  • Produce reporting, insights, and governance artefacts that support informed decision-making.
  • Champion continuous service improvement and innovation across the partner ecosystem.

Need To Have – Your Essentials

  • Experience in IT Service Management, Supplier Management, or Partner Management.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL v4 principles and practices.
  • Experience working within SIAM or multi-supplier environments.
  • Proven experience managing service performance through SLAs, OLAs, KPIs, and service reporting.
  • Ability to analyse performance data and turn insights into actions.
  • Experience leading service governance and performance review meetings.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Experience using tools such as ServiceNow for reporting and service management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across technical and business teams.

Nice to Have

  • ITIL v4 Practitioner certification (or equivalent).
  • Experience working with offshore or strategic technology partners.
  • Experience defining KPIs and performance frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Continual Service Improvement (CSI) methodologies.
  • Experience with supplier governance audits.
  • Experience defining or managing services within a multi-tier SIAM model.

Overview
We are seeking a
Technical Support Engineer
to join our Support team. As a Technical Support Engineer level 2, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional support to our enterprise-level customers, leveraging your expertise in cloud technologies and troubleshooting skills.

You Will

  • Work with global customers and internal teams to resolve complex technical issues and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues raised by customers, ensuring timely resolution within SLAs.
  • Act as the "voice of the customer," providing valuable insights and feedback to the development and service teams on recurring issues.
  • Collaborate closely with product developers, building knowledge in Support, troubleshooting tools, and methodologies.
  • Analyze recurring issues and contribute to developing processes and requirements for improved customer support tools and solutions.
  • Mentor and educate team members, empowering them to handle technical escalations effectively.
  • Demonstrate a customer-centric approach, delivering exceptional support experiences while working with some of the world's top brands.
  • Be comfortable with 24/7 shift work and on-call duties to address critical customer issues in a fast-paced environment.

You Have

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Tier 2/3 Support Engineer, or equivalent customer-facing position.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level customers, preferably with Fortune 500 organizations.
  • Proven experience in analyzing, troubleshooting, and providing solutions for technical issues of varying complexity.
  • Knowledge of web technologies and protocols.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively communicate with enterprise customers via chat, email, and phone, including managing technical bridges during critical situations.
  • Resilience to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight timelines.
  • Strong service orientation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to be on-call for high-severity issues.
  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous and ever-changing environment.
  • Proactive self-learner with a strong desire to acquire new knowledge and learn new technologies.
