Job Description
Reporting to the Global Director for Cloud & Data Centre Services, you will be helping keep Olympus cloud and on-premises data centre services secure, reliable, cost-effective, and aligned to our global strategy, architecture, security and governance standards.

Day to day you will design, implement, maintain and optimise compute, storage, networking and platform services, acting as subject-matter expert across our hybrid cloud environment.

That spans migrations, automation, capacity planning, performance and cost optimisation, alongside incident, problem, change and request management.

You will work closely with service owners, service managers, provider managers, regional delivery leads, as well as other IT functions and external partners.

Job Duties
Run the hybrid environment

  • Support the delivery, configuration and ongoing operation of a hybrid environment that integrates on-premises data centre infrastructure with public cloud services such as Azure and AWS, in line with global architecture, security and governance standards
  • Manage compute, storage, networking, security groups and resource configurations across cloud and on-premises platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, SAN/NAS), including hybrid connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute, SD-WAN), hybrid identity and hybrid management tooling (Azure Arc, VMware Cloud, monitoring platforms)
  • Monitor health, performance and utilisation across compute, storage, backup and network systems, coordinate upgrades, patching, firmware updates and lifecycle refresh, and implement and monitor approved changes in line with security and compliance requirements

Modernise and improve

  • Contribute to infrastructure modernisation initiatives, including cloud migrations, data centre consolidation, platform refresh cycles and hybrid cloud implementations, in support of the global roadmap
  • Partner with architects and engineering teams to validate solution designs, then support testing, pilot deployments and transition into stable operation
  • Take part in automation and orchestration initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve consistency across hybrid environments

Security, governance and cost

  • Apply global governance frameworks, security baselines and configuration standards consistently across cloud and on-premises platforms
  • Support security assessments, vulnerability remediation, patch compliance tracking and infrastructure hardening, working with Security GRC on identity, access controls, logging and audit readiness
  • Understand cloud cost drivers and carry out cost analysis and optimisation

Work across regions and partners

  • Collaborate with regional IT teams, application owners and service managers to understand requirements and deliver services that meet business needs while staying aligned to global standards, and coordinate global managed service providers, cloud vendors and data centre partners to resolve complex issues
  • Explain technical topics clearly to stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge, and provide insight into performance, risks and opportunities to support planning and decision-making

Job Requirements
Must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.)
  • Experience in working with cloud technologies and on-premise data center environments, including delivery, operations and contributing to cloud and data centre roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting on premise data center services, including server hardware, virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere, Hyper V), storage (SAN/NAS), networking components, backup systems, and monitoring tools.
  • Strong understanding of hybrid infrastructure, including how cloud and on prem systems integrate (networking, identity, monitoring, backup, and security).
  • Experience in cloud and data center migration projects, hardware lifecycle activities, platform refreshes, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
  • Experience working with global or outsourced service providers, including coordinating delivery and holding vendors to agreed service levels.
  • Experience delivering complex global infrastructure projects in a multinational environment.
  • Solid cloud operations experience — Azure at minimum; AWS/GCP/OCI as a plus
  • Understanding of governance, security, cost control, tagging/CMDB/service management concepts.
  • Structured follow-up and ownership mindset
  • Comfortable with tools/processes such as ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, reporting/KPIs, and vendor coordination
  • Ability to work globally and independently
  • Willingness to travel internationally, approximately 10–15%
  • Fluent English, written and spoken (working language of the global team)

Nice to have:

  • Certification as an MS Azure or AWS Solutions Architect and/or other Cloud Security Certifications
  • Multi-cloud experience
  • FinOps experience or cloud cost governance exposure
  • Automation/IaC knowledge (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, Ansible or similar)
  • Experience with cloud security platforms or CSPM/CNAPP concepts
  • Experience in global enterprise environments
  • Knowledge of ITIL/service management

Responsibilities
The Opportunity
This role is a technical expert and governance coordinator of DISASTER RECOVERY activities for the PepsiCo's Global Disaster Recovery Program for several sectors and deliver our DR services to safeguard our Production Data Centers on Cloud or On-Premises, according to Sector’s needs. The individual will operate within a diverse team located across the globe and coordinate closely with our Infrastructure, Application, and Sectors teams to manage DR replication enrollments, DR Plans creation and updates and execute planned DR testing events to prove our readiness to respond to disasters, side by side with our Managed Service Providers

Your Impact
As Disaster Recovery Coordinator/Engineer your responsibilities would consist of:

  • Implement best in class DR Replication solutions & tools for Disaster Recovery program for Cloud, On-premises, or hybrid hosting environments.
  • Manage and improve the Disaster Recovery Replication solutions according to our Global DR Program & Strategy (Cloud, On-premises, or Hybrid environments)
  • Coordinate interactions with Infrastructure, Applications, sectors & Enterprise Architecture teams to work in the DR Replication agenda including Vendors and Managed Service providers.
  • Managed and support any new DR capabilities delivered by our CTO org related to Replication.
  • Support, coordinate and manage DR engineering topics across several PepsiCo Sectors
  • Responsible for coordinating DR program activities like DR replication onboarding for critical applications, documentation of DR Plans, and DR Tests exercises support, according to the DR Program.
  • Responsible for coordinating and supporting DR tests exercises according to DR Policy, Framework, and processes of the Global DR Program from engineering and governance perspectives
  • Lead engagements with Infrastructure, Sector, and Application teams to address DR technical gaps and needs for DR replication, DR Plans and DR tests exercises readiness activities, from governance perspective too, prior to Test dates according to DR methodologies.
  • Address DR Test gaps with service owners in all sectors and track all DR remediation plans as needed.
  • Support and coordinate the Implementation and execution of the DR Strategy according to PepsiCo DR Policy, DR Framework, and processes in CGF sector.
  • Coordinate with DR engineering and DR Governance teams activities of DR Program for Global and sector needs.

Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
Experience
Key Technical skills:

  • 2+ years of experience with Disaster Recovery methodologies and processes according to best industry standards
  • 2+ years of experience managing Disaster Recovery Replication methodologies and tools like VMware SRM, Storage replication, Zerto, Azure – ASR, Database replications like Oracle Data Gard, MS-SQL Always-On, Hana System Replication (HSR), etc.
  • 2+ Years of Proven expertise and strong skills on IT services technologies like servers & Platforms (Linux, Windows, HPUX, AIX, etc.), Virtualization (VMware), Storage (NAS, SAN), Backups (Rubrik), Databases (Oracle, MS-SQL, HANA, DB2)
  • Advanced understanding of IT infrastructure and enterprise architectures in Cloud, On-premises, and hybrid environments
  • Strong proficiency in Cloud technologies, especially on Disaster Recovery for MS Azure Cloud services, like ASR (Azure Site Recovery), HSR (Hana System Replication) & ANF (Azure NetApp Files)
  • Strong Proficiency with DR technologies to support Network resiliency.
  • Proficiency with Network technologies like WAN, LAN, IP’s, VLANs, Bandwidth and Traffic, Security, Load Balancers, DNS, Firewalls
  • SNOW BCM knowledge preferably.

Non-Technical Skills:

  • A dynamic team member with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Able to operate and lead within high-stress environments including simulated and actual disaster level events.

Looking for a SRE Platform Lead resource to implement and support Enterprise integrations solutions using Boomi and Confluent platforms. This is a hands-on SRE individual contributor role combining
platform engineering + SRE + integration/event streaming expertise
.

MUST Have Skills

  • Strong, hands-on experience with Boomi Enterprise & Agent Studio (development and administration)
  • Strong, hands-on experience with Confluent / Kafka:
  • Confluent Cloud and/or Confluent Platform operations and administration
  • topics/partitions, consumer groups, connector ops, schema governance, RBAC/ACLs, cluster health/capacity planning, cluster linking/mirroring
  • Experience deploying/operating platforms on AWS including EKS/Kubernetes, IAM, networking, and security controls.
  • 7+ years of experience of SRE Platform Engineering or Application Administration having configured and maintained enterprise-level applications.
  • 5+ years using critical thinking to debug complex technical issues independently and drive the resolution working with internal teams then documenting Incident, Request and Change/Release management process using JIRA and ServiceNow
  • Good understanding of software testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Junit, PyTest
  • Deep expertise in observability using Datadog (APM/logs/metrics, dashboards, alerting, SLOs).
  • Proven success building DevSecOps automation: CI/CD, IaC, security controls, secrets management, automated validation/testing.
  • Strong scripting/automation skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell or similar) and comfort building internal tools/utilities.

Other Preferred Skills

  • Experience with event-driven architecture, messaging patterns (Kafka, RabbitMQ, TIBCO EMS), and platform governance.
  • Experience modernizing EDI/RosettaNet and large B2B partner ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with Informatica Cloud, TIBCO, Oracle SOA, or Sterling MFT migration strategies.
  • Experience building self-service platforms and developer portals (APIs/events/templates).
  • Knowledge of AWS Well-Architected principles and security/compliance controls (PII, retention, auditability).

Operating Model
SRE lead will join an existing team with 24/7 operations team in India and will be working as Tier-3 on-call support on weekdays/weekends to support Critical Enterprise integrations. Other duties include:

  • Working closely with vendor to determine the software roadmaps and lead technical discussions to align with business requirements/SLOs.
  • Ensure high quality documentation that will include detailed implementation architectures, backup+recovery procedures, user+developer guides, custom procedures/scripts, testing or validation processes and how-to manuals.

Boomi + Confluent Platform Enablement (Hands-On)

  • Administer and operate Boomi (Atoms/Molecules, environments, deployments, runtime management, upgrades, monitoring, governance).
  • Develop AI assisted templates or workflows using Boomi Agent Studio
  • Administer and operate Confluent Cloud and Confluent Platform on EKS:
  • Kafka cluster operations, capacity planning, partitioning strategy, consumer group health, topic lifecycle management
  • RBAC/ACLs, encryption, audit logging, schema governance, connector operations
  • Build and maintain operational standards for event streaming + iPaaS platforms (backup/restore, DR, HA, upgrades, patching).
  • Own availability, latency, performance, and cost outcomes for Boomi and Confluent platforms.
  • Define and operationalize SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, runbooks, escalation paths, and on-call readiness for integration and event streaming platforms.
  • Lead incident response, problem management, postmortems, and continuous improvement to reduce MTTR/MTBF and improve reliability.

DevSecOps Enablement

  • Build and standardize CI/CD pipelines for integration and streaming artifacts (Boomi deployments, Kafka/Confluent resources, connectors, schemas).
  • Implement policy-as-code, secrets management, automated testing, and release governance aligned with DevSecOps best practices.
  • Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation for platform provisioning (environments, topics, ACLs, schemas, connectors, monitoring).
  • Eliminate manual operations by scripting and automation across Boomi/Confluent (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Create reusable operational utilities to standardize onboarding, provisioning, access requests, schema changes, connector management, and deployment workflows.
  • Measure and reduce operational toil through automation and platform guardrails.

Observability + AIOps (Datadog)

  • Implement end-to-end observability using Datadog:
  • Metrics/logs/traces, dashboards, service maps, alerts, anomaly detection
  • Correlation across integrations, Kafka pipelines, and infrastructure
  • Enable AIOps workflows (noise reduction, alert tuning, automated remediation hooks, intelligent incident routing).

Self-Service + Developer/Business Enablement

  • Build a self-service portal and “golden path” templates to enable teams to onboard integrations/events quickly with security compliance.
  • Establish an Event Marketplace approach (catalog, discovery, ownership metadata, governance workflows) to support ML/AI patterns and reuse.

Modernization Support (Legacy → Target State)

  • Support migration and modernization patterns from:
  • TIBCO BWCE, Oracle SOA → Boomi + event-driven APIs/events
  • EDI/RosettaNet (TIBCO B2B) → modern B2B patterns and managed onboarding
  • IBM Sterling MFT → automated file/event hybrid patterns and governance
  • Informatica Cloud jobs → modern integration/event/ELT patterns where appropriate

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree.

OR

9+ years of IT-related work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.

Será responsable de la creación y mantenimiento de dashboards, monitoreo proactivo, análisis de eventos e incidencias, así como de la generación de métricas e indicadores operativos para los diferentes equipos tecnológicos.

Funciones
Operación y Monitoreo

  • Realizar monitoreo continuo de aplicaciones, infraestructura y servicios mediante Dynatrace.
  • Identificar, analizar y dar seguimiento a alertas e incidentes detectados por la plataforma.
  • Ejecutar análisis de causa raíz (RCA) ante degradaciones o fallas en los servicios.
  • Dar seguimiento a eventos críticos y coordinar con equipos de soporte, desarrollo e infraestructura.

Dashboards y Reporting

  • Diseñar, desarrollar y mantener dashboards ejecutivos, operativos y técnicos en Dynatrace.
  • Crear métricas personalizadas, reportes y visualizaciones para distintos niveles de audiencia.
  • Definir KPIs, SLIs y SLOs relacionados con disponibilidad, rendimiento y experiencia del usuario.
  • Generar reportes periódicos sobre tendencias, capacidad, desempeño y salud de los servicios.

Administración de la Plataforma

  • Configurar y administrar monitoreo de aplicaciones, servicios, hosts y procesos.
  • Gestionar alertamientos, umbrales y reglas de monitoreo.
  • Colaborar en la implementación de nuevas fuentes de monitoreo y observabilidad.
  • Mantener documentación operativa y mejores prácticas de la herramienta.

Mejora Continua

  • Proponer mejoras en la estrategia de observabilidad y monitoreo.
  • Identificar oportunidades de automatización de alertas y reportes.
  • Participar en iniciativas de optimización de desempeño y estabilidad de aplicaciones.

Requisitos
Formación Académica:
Licenciatura en Informática, Ingeniería en Sistemas, Tecnologías de la Información

Idioma:
inglés intermedio (deseable)

Tipo y Tiempo De Experiencia

  • Experiencia mínima de 2 a 4 años en monitoreo de aplicaciones e infraestructura.
  • Experiencia práctica trabajando con Dynatrace.
  • Creación y administración de dashboards, métricas, alertas y reportes en Dynatrace.
  • Conocimientos de observabilidad (APM, Infraestructura, Logs y Experiencia Digital).
  • Experiencia en análisis de métricas y troubleshooting.
  • Manejo de consultas y análisis de datos.

Conocimiento y herramientas:
Conocimiento de ambientes Linux y Windows, Conocimiento básico de redes, protocolos y arquitectura de aplicaciones.
