We are seeking a
Staff Product Manager
who will drive strategic vision and execution for Discovery Agent's evolution from template-based extraction to autonomous, agentic AI capabilities. This is a high-impact role requiring deep technical expertise in AI/ML products, contract domain knowledge, and the ability to influence across the organization. You'll own multi-quarter product strategy, define breakthrough capabilities like Zero-Touch Setup, architect agent orchestration frameworks, and mentor other product managers while working directly with our most strategic enterprise customers.

About Discovery Agent
Discovery Agent is Conga's AI-powered solution that transforms how enterprises extract, analyse, and manage contract data. Part of a three-agent architecture (Discovery Agent, Search Agent, and Redline Agent), Discovery Agent serves Fortune 500 customers, reducing contract implementation time through intelligent automation and agentic AI capabilities.

Why It's a Big Deal
A Staff PM will play a critical role in shaping Discovery Agent ahead of competitors. It will directly impact Conga's strategic initiatives and set industry standards for AI-powered contract management.

Are You the Person We're Looking For?
Related Experience:
You must have more than 8 years of experience in Product management with 5+ years in enterprise AI/ML products or intelligent automation platforms.

You are good in leading

in AI/ML, particularly in document intelligence, contract analytics, or enterprise automation

AI/ML & Agentic Systems Expertise.
You have a good understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and agent architectures. You also have knowledge of multi-agent orchestration, including tool calling, conditional logic, and agent collaboration patterns

AI Implementation challenges.
You know how to deal with the
AI implementation challenges
at enterprise scale - latency, accuracy, cost optimization, and hallucination mitigation. You are familiar with
RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
systems and vector databases. You understand the model fine-tuning, evaluation frameworks, and AI performance metrics

Design Patterns and MCP
. You have good knowledge of
agentic design patterns
: autonomous decision-making, tool use, self-configuration, and adaptive behaviours. You have good understanding of
Model Context Protocol (MCP)
or similar agent communication frameworks

Mentor and Strategy.
You have good experience of
mentoring and developing product managers
, setting product standards across teams and a proven track record of
defining and executing multi-quarter product strategies
that drove significant revenue or market differentiation.

Customer & Stakeholder Excellence.
You are exceptional
executive presence
with Fortune 500 customers and internal C-suite stakeholders. You show a proven ability to
run discovery sessions
that uncover deep customer problems and quantify business impact

Enterprise Product Expertise.
You are a subject matter expert on
enterprise AI product implementation and deployment
and expertise with
customer implementation strategies
that reduce time-to-value from months to weeks.

Configuration vs. customization

About the role:
As a
Data Product Manager,
you will be at the forefront of our data strategy, responsible for building and managing data products that harness the power of analytics, ML, and AI. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, and business units, to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies. Your deep understanding of the payment industry (or strong desire to build one) will be crucial in delivering products that meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with business teams to define product requirements and closely interact with engineering, data science and other technology teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and internal process reviews to identify opportunities for new data products and enhancements to existing products.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for data products (dashboards, APIs, Machine Learning engines, data pipelines) from ideation to launch and beyond.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with the company’s data strategy and business objectives.
  • Utilise analytics, ML, and AI to create innovative data products that provide actionable insights and drive business value.
  • Monitor the product performance, where success is defined as business impact (revenue growth, optimisation of existing business processes, cost savings).
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, including senior leadership.
  • Ensure data products comply with industry regulations and best practices for data privacy and security, including GDPR, PSD2, PCI DSS and DORA.
  • Drive data culture within the organisation by advocating for best practices, fostering data literacy, and enabling stakeholders to leverage data effectively

This role is perfect for you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in product management, with a focus on data products, analytics, ML, and AI (for example, digital marketing optimisation (ROAS, CAC, First Touch, Last Touch, MTMA, MMM), churn prediction, LTV calculations (to support lead scoring, dynamic pricing, etc).
  • Strong technical skills and understanding of data management & analytics, ML, and AI technologies.
  • Experience working in the payment industry, tech startup, or financial services is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient storyteller, with experience in presentation to various audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in process mapping, design, and change management.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with data warehousing tools and platforms (BigQuery is a nice to have) and query languages such as SQL (highly desirable) and Python (will be a plus).
  • Experience with data visualisation techniques is highly desirable, specific experience with PowerBI will be a plus.
  • Power user of presentation tools such as Power Point (experience with Miro, Mural or other whiteboarding software will be considered a plus).
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (SAFE, Agile, Scrum) and tools such as Azure DevOps and JIRA.
  • Knowledge of different ML approaches (predictive, prescriptive, generative) and ability to tailor the approach to the business problem at hand.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform and their data services.

  • Performing data-driven diagnostics of operational performance to identify waste, rework, and automation opportunities.

Your Skills And Experience
We are looking for talented, enthusiastic consultants with 4–7+ years of relevant work experience and a proven ability to deliver outcomes in challenging client environments. You’re a collaborative problem-solver who takes ownership, builds trusted relationships, and brings both analytical rigour and empathy to client delivery.

Must haves

  • Proven expertise in Operational Excellence - Lean / Six Sigma etc., with demonstrable benefits delivered.
  • Strong experience in digitally enabled operations: business process documentation, optimization and automationbalancing between technical, operational and organizational improvement initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience in process intelligence (process mining and/or AI-enabled process management) and data analysis using modern tools and platforms.
  • Ability to structure and synthesise complex problems into actionable transformation roadmaps, both quantitatively and qualitatively.
  • Proven track record of leading projects or workstreams in demanding, results-focused client environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) and willingness to travel internationally up to 30%.

  • Practical experience with AI & Automation (RPA, AI/ML, NLP, GenAI) in operations.
