AlixPartners

Apply on the employer's site

Role description

At AlixPartners, we solve the most complex and critical challenges by moving quickly from analysis to action when it really matters; creating value that has a lasting impact on companies, their people, and the communities they serve. By understanding, respecting, and honoring the needs of our employees, clients, and communities, AlixPartners actively promotes an inclusive environment. We strongly believe in the value that diversity brings to our experiences and are committed to the perpetual enhancements of initiatives, policies, and practices. We hold ourselves accountable by providing the space for authenticity, growth, and equity for everyone.

AlixPartners has embraced a hybrid work model to provide flexibility and support our employees’ work-life integration. Our hybrid model combines a mix of in-person (at client site or AlixPartners office) and remote working. Travel is part of this position, but the frequency may vary based on client, team, and individual circumstances.

What You’ll Do
Are you energized by the most consequential technology questions facing global businesses? At AlixPartners, your work supports the senior practitioners who sit shoulder-to-shoulder with C-Level executives on the issues at the top of their agendas. You will be a core member of integrated, senior teams: bringing analytic horsepower, original thinking, and polished deliverables to high-stakes client engagements, while also helping us codify our IP into reusable products and tools. We are not looking for a delivery executor. We are looking for an advisor and a builder who develops alongside the team in the US and EMEA, helping shape what the practice does and how it scales.

In this role, you will…

  • Partner with senior Technology practitioners in the US and EMEA to deliver complex engagements across IT/Technology Due Diligence, Post-Merger Integration, Product & Engineering Optimization, Tech Cost Rationalization, Technology Operating Models, ERP Strategy, Cloud Strategy, and Applied AI.
  • Structure ambiguous problems, convert client and market data into clear hypotheses, and brief senior executives on the answer.
  • Build the analytics that prove or invalidate the hypotheses: financial models, spend waterfalls, benchmarks, target operating models, market sizing, and value cases.
  • Produce client-ready documents and presentations where you take a point of view.
  • Apply modern AI tools and product methods to accelerate and elevate client delivery — agentic research, model-assisted analysis, and AI-generated drafts sharpened by human judgment.
  • Bring a product manager’s instinct to every problem: define the user, the outcome, the metrics, and the smallest version of the solution that proves value before scaling.
  • Help codify the practice’s methodologies and recurring analyses into reusable internal products that any practitioner can deploy on day one of an engagement.
  • Turn one-off analyses into repeatable assets, tribal knowledge into structured playbooks, and manual workflows into AI-assisted ones.
  • Coach junior team members and raise the bar on quality, judgment, and pace.
  • Collaborate across geographies and disciplines — including engineering, design, and business stakeholders — to land both client outcomes and internal-product outcomes.

What You’ll Need

  • 5–8+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience in technology strategy, digital transformation, or product roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus but not required.
  • Track record of structuring ambiguous problems, driving an analytic point of view, and briefing senior executives on the answer.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead workstreams independently and to mentor more junior team members.
  • Hands-on exposure to any combination of: IT/Technology Due Diligence, Post-Merger Integration, IT Optimization and Cost Rationalization, Technology Operating Models, ERP Strategy, Cloud Strategy (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and Applied AI strategy for enterprise.
  • Knowledge across any combination of industries: Technology, Media and Telecommunications, Private Equity, Retail, Hospitality, Automotive, Manufacturing, or Consumer Products.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel — able to build complex financial and operational analyses end-to-end.
  • Working proficiency with at least one data tool: PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on familiarity with modern AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent) and a clear point of view on how to use them in real consulting work.
  • Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint and the ability to produce executive-grade decks.
  • Experience translating client or user needs into clear product or service requirements, even without a formal product title. Comfort with agile delivery practices is a plus.
  • Bilingual: Spanish and English. Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable presenting to and being challenged by senior executives.
  • Desire to actively engage with geographically dispersed teams in the US and EMEA across time zones.
  • Authorized to work in Argentina and travel internationally without restrictions or visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to work full time in a hybrid office and remote environment.
  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, and in particular as unique projects/needs arise.
  • Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday
  • Must become familiar with, and promote and abide by, our Core Values as defined by the AlixPartners’ Code of Conduct and foster an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization

The firm offers market-leading benefits that provide flexible options to support our employee’s needs including health benefits to help prioritise their physical and emotional well-being, time-off policies to help to recharge and financial/ retirement benefits that offer income protection and support long-term planning.
The benefit type and level differ per location.

Appnovation

Buenos Aires

Role description

About Us
Appnovation is a global, full-service digital partner that combines Strategy, Experience & Design, Engineering and Managed Services. We build digital solutions that deliver real impact today and serve as foundations for future growth. Bold ambition. Practical action. Endless possibilities.

Technology is foundational to all of Appnovation’s offerings, from consulting to digital innovation, to digital product and service creation. The technology department is focused on delivering software solutions that enable rich consumer experiences, from mobile and web applications to advanced analytics and machine learning, to content and engagement management service enablement platforms.

Inherent throughout our tech capabilities is deep expertise in the Software Development Life Cycle, a drive for creativity, a passion for the craft, and collaboration with other disciplines - all foundational ingredients in successful digital experiences and client partnerships.

As an AI / Agent Engineer — an “AI Builder” — you will join a highly motivated and experienced team at the core of every pod, building and evolving the agentic layer of our platform. You will craft the MCP servers, tools, skills and graph-RAG pipelines that make documents intelligible to multiple large language models, and partner with product, data and QA to continuously raise answer quality and factual grounding. We are looking for people who bring a strong, solution-focused mindset, thrive amid fast-moving AI tooling, and get things done.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and evolve MCP servers, tools, and skills that expose the platform to multiple LLMs (e.g., Claude, Gemini).
  • Design and refine the graph-RAG pipeline that transforms documents into agent-friendly representations of facts, entities, and relationships.
  • Implement retrieval across multiple tiers (source document, vector-RAG, dense graph) and temporal replay.
  • Partner with QA on eval-driven improvements to answer quality and factual grounding.
  • Write clean, well-tested, production-grade code and participate in code reviews.
  • Collaborate closely with product, data, and QA in an agile/sprint model.
  • Document designs, prompts, and tool interfaces for maintainability and handover.
  • Monitor deployed agents/models, troubleshoot issues, and iterate on performance.
  • Stay current with the fast-moving LLM/agent tooling landscape.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with 2+ years in AI/ML or LLM-based applications.
  • Strong Python, with hands-on experience in LLM application development and agentic patterns.
  • Direct experience building MCP servers, tools, and skills.
  • Experience with RAG and graph-RAG systems, vector databases, and embeddings.
  • Familiarity with graph data stores (Neo4j and/or Postgres/Supabase-based graph implementations).
  • Comfortable working against multiple LLM providers (e.g., Claude, Gemini).
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals: version control (Git), testing, and CI/CD.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in ambiguity.

Who You Are

  • You think about how to scale, automate and operate, not just how to build a solution to an immediate problem
  • You understand lean thinking
  • You set high standards for code quality, performance/scalability and security and seek continuous improvement
  • You have solid analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • You have customer first mindset and a devotion to customer service
  • You engage and build positive internal and external client relationships, while managing multiple initiatives, often with competing priorities
  • You have strong self-initiative, passion, interpersonal, oral and written communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work, influence and make an impact in a cross-functional environment with all levels of the organization
  • You are responsive and thrive in a fast-paced diverse high-performance environment with rapidly changing business needs
  • You actively seek out things outside your comfort zone with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies
  • You have prior experience in consulting
  • Prior experience and connections in the Life Sciences industry is preferred

Thank you for your interest in a career with Appnovation Technologies! Please note that only those selected for an interview will be contacted.

At Appnovation, we recognize that diverse teams are the strongest teams. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion is not only something that we embrace - we celebrate it! We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and we encourage applicants from all backgrounds, lived experiences and industries to apply. Come join us at Appnovation, and learn more about how we stay true to our company values as we build better lives through better digital.
