What you will do
In this role you’ll support airline companies by ensuring their critical applications run smoothly and reliably. Your daily work will include:
- Keeping airline applications up and running.
- Ensuring high availability and stable operations.
- Monitoring systems and handling alerts.
- Opening, managing and coordinating incidents.
- Executing planned maintenance tasks.
- Keeping contact with providers and internal technical teams.
- Troubleshooting application issues and outages using documentation.
- Resolving simple service requests from customers.
- Participating in calls during outages to support recovery.
You don’t need to know everything on day one — we will teach you, guide you, and help you grow.
You are a perfect match if you
- Want to provide professional, high-quality support in a 24/7 shift environment (12-hour shifts) – working hybrid and home office.
- Have Linux/Unix knowledge AND/OR are motivated to improve these skills.
- Have experience in IT operations or a strong interest in learning it.
- Communicate well, think in solutions, and enjoy working in a team.
- Can speak and write in English confidently.
- Are curious, reliable, motivated and always open to learning more.
- Are interested in the world of aviation, mission-critical systems, and technical problem solving.
If you’re the type of person who likes digging into systems, learning how things work, and understanding how aviation IT runs behind the scenes — we want to meet you.
It’s an advantage if you have
- SAP knowledge.
- German language skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes.
- Cloud operation experience.
- Basic TCP/IP networking background.
- SQL database basics.
- Experience in application operation.
- Scripting skills (Perl, PHP, Bash, Python, etc.).
