Role description

For experienced AWS Cloud Engineers and hands-on Solutions Architects based in the Czech Republic or Slovakia.

Trustsoft is building a long-term network of experienced AWS professionals who can support our customer projects when new engagements start or our internal teams need additional capacity.

This is not a vacancy tied to one specific project. We are looking for AWS specialists interested in flexible, project-based cooperation with the possibility of developing a longer-term relationship with Trustsoft.

How does the cooperation work?

Our project demand changes throughout the year. New projects may start at relatively short notice, while existing engagements may temporarily require additional technical capacity.

The cooperation is therefore based on current project needs. Your allocation may initially be lower than 100% and may vary between individual projects.

Please note that:

  • continuous or full-time allocation cannot be guaranteed
  • individual engagements may be short-term or continue across multiple projects
  • the workload depends on active customer projects
  • successful cooperation may lead to a larger allocation or an opportunity to join one of our core teams

This model is particularly suitable for experienced professionals who value flexibility, already work on other projects or want to build a relationship with Trustsoft gradually.

What do we expect?

You should:

  • be based in the Czech Republic or Slovakia
  • be available to visit our Prague office when required and agreed in advance
  • speak fluent Czech or Slovak and English
  • have strong professional experience with AWS
  • be comfortable working independently in customer-facing projects
  • communicate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders
  • be open to flexible allocation based on current project demand

The exact requirements will always depend on the particular project. We do not expect you to be an expert in every technology mentioned below.

AWS Cloud Engineer

Our main focus is on AWS Cloud Engineers with strong infrastructure and automation skills.

You may work on designing, building, migrating, automating and operating AWS environments. Depending on the project, your responsibilities may include:

  • building and improving AWS infrastructure
  • implementing infrastructure as code
  • working with AWS networking, IAM, security and multi-account environments
  • supporting landing zones and cloud governance
  • delivering AWS migration and modernization projects
  • working with containers, serverless services and cloud-native workloads
  • implementing CI/CD, deployment automation and observability
  • troubleshooting infrastructure and operational issues
  • improving reliability, security and cost efficiency
  • preparing technical documentation and operational handovers

Relevant experience may include:

  • AWS compute, networking, storage, databases, identity and security services
  • Amazon VPC, IAM, AWS Organizations or AWS Control Tower
  • Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK
  • Linux, scripting and automation
  • Docker, Amazon EKS or Amazon ECS
  • AWS Lambda and serverless architectures
  • CI/CD tooling and monitoring platforms

We are primarily looking for Cloud Engineers rather than application-focused DevOps Engineers. However, you should understand modern DevOps practices and be comfortable with infrastructure as code, containers, automation and observability.

AWS Solutions Architect

Our AWS Solutions Architects combine customer-facing consulting and presales with practical technical delivery.

This is not a purely advisory role. You should be comfortable moving between customer discussions, architecture design and hands-on implementation.

Depending on the project, your responsibilities may include:

  • understanding customer requirements and technical constraints
  • designing secure, scalable and cost-effective AWS architectures
  • leading technical discovery sessions and customer workshops
  • contributing to presales, proposals, estimates and presentations
  • designing landing zones, networking, security and governance
  • supporting AWS migration and modernization initiatives
  • preparing architecture diagrams and implementation plans
  • providing technical leadership throughout delivery
  • contributing hands-on to infrastructure as code, prototypes or key solution components
  • reviewing solutions against AWS Well-Architected principles

We are looking for architects who can communicate confidently with customers while remaining technically hands-on.

Why Trustsoft?

You can expect:

  • a variety of AWS customer projects and environments
  • cooperation with thest best AWS engineers and architects out there
  • exposure to cloud migrations, modernization and platform projects
  • flexible cooperation without an immediate full-time commitment
  • the possibility of more regular involvement after successful cooperation
  • a professional and friendly environment with direct communication

Even when we do not have an immediate project matching your profile, we would be happy to connect and contact you when a suitable opportunity arises.
