We are looking for an experienced
AWS Expert
to join our Global Business Support (GBS) operations team. You will ensure the availability, security, and performance of our cloud environments while supporting business units across the group. Your expertise will directly impact how we deliver critical services.

What You'll Do

Manage and operate AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security compliance aligned with ENGIE Group policies.
Deploy and administer IaaS and PaaS services, including VM provisioning and serverless architectures, in collaboration with cloud partners.
Provide Level 1 to 3 operational support on AWS environments, Windows Servers, and Linux Servers.
Automate infrastructure deployment and management using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Jenkins.
Monitor and supervise existing platforms using Grafana and CloudWatch, identifying and resolving technical issues proactively.
Advise and support business units during go-to-run processes, sharing deep cloud expertise.
Write and maintain technical documentation, including architecture files, operational procedures, and root cause analyses.

What You Bring

4 to 10 years of hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, IAM, RDS, VPC, ECS, and EKS.
AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification (mandatory).
Strong skills in Linux and/or Windows administration, scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell), and networking (DNS, security groups).
Experience with DevOps tooling: Docker, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, CloudFormation, and JIRA.
Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB, SQL Server, Oracle) and data platforms (Databricks, Dataiku).
Fluency in English at B2 level or above (spoken and written); French B2 is a plus.
Ability to work in a multicultural, cross-functional team with strong communication and knowledge-sharing skills.

On-call duty and interventions during non-working hours are required.

Key Job Responsibilities And Duties

Designing and building software applications by using relevant development languages and applying knowledge of systems, services and tools appropriate for the business area
Owning a service end to end by actively monitoring application health and performance, setting and monitoring relevant metrics and act accordingly when violated
Identify and resolve live production issues by mitigating the customer impact within SLA
Evaluating possible architecture solutions by taking into account cost, business requirements, technology requirements and emerging technologies
Identifying opportunities for process, system and structural improvements (i.e performance gains) by examining and evaluating current process flows, methods and standards
Drive and implement solutions for automations or new functionalities in the reliability tools that can proactively prevent incidents or improve the overall reliability of systems at scale
Delivering clear, well-structured, and meaningful information to a target audience by using suitable communication mediums and language tailored to the audience

Role Qualifications And Requirements

Minimum of 3 years software development experience.
Strong working knowledge and experience with one or more server-side programming languages (Java would be a plus)
Experience building interactive front-end web UIs with HTML, CSS and modern web development frameworks, like React.
Experience with distributed systems and solid understanding of Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices, Event Driven Architectures, High Availability systems and infrastructure
Experience of working on products that impact a large customer base is an advantage
Excellent communication; written and spoken and experience working with non-technical stakeholders
