C# Software Engineer (m/f/d)
with a degree in computer science or a related field – alternatively, a comparable qualification, such as relevant vocational training combined with several years of relevant professional experience.
What you can expect
As part of your induction, we will familiarise you with our exciting products, our teams and the development environment. You will experience cutting-edge technology at first hand and observe the results of your work directly on the end product. Your tasks will be varied and challenging. This includes in particular:
- Design and implementation of software solutions and backend applications using C# and the .NET framework.
- Maintenance, support, enhancement, and optimization of existing software architectures
- Creation, expansion, and maintenance of automated tests
- Error analysis and troubleshooting
- Testing of new software and product modifications
- Collaboration with the application team to resolve application-related issues
What you bring along
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field – alternatively, a comparable qualification, such as relevant vocational training combined with several years of relevant professional experience
- Extensive experience in object-oriented programming, particularly with C# and the .NET framework (.NET Framework 4.x and .NET Core version 6+)
- Extensive experience with IDEs such as Visual Studio and JetBrains Rider
- Experience in software architecture, including design patterns, asynchronous programming, and parallelization
- Experience working with Windows and Linux systems
- Solid knowledge of Git
- Experience with inter-process communication (IPC) is an asset
- Knowledge of programming languages, technologies, and frameworks such as Python, WPF/Avalonia, gRPC would be highly appreciated
- Knowledge of quality assurance is desireable
- Analytical thinking, a structured approach to work, and strong problem-solving skills
- Team spirit and good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Very good German language skills
- Good English language skills
