Role description

As Chief Quality Officer, you will define and execute the company's global quality strategy, embedding a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and customer focus across the organization.

You will lead Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Supplier Quality, and Quality Systems while partnering closely with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Production, Customer Support, and Executive Leadership to ensure our products consistently meet the highest standards of reliability, safety, and performance.

This is a full-time office job. Candidates must be located in Kyiv.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • Develop and execute the company's Quality Strategy aligned with business objectives and international standards.
  • Lead the global Quality organization, including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Supplier Quality, and Quality Management Systems.
  • Own and continuously improve the company's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100 (or equivalent aerospace standards), and applicable defense requirements.
  • Establish quality objectives, KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting.
  • Drive company-wide continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, and other operational excellence methodologies.
  • Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes and ensure sustainable problem resolution.
  • Build robust supplier quality management processes, including qualification, auditing, performance monitoring, and supplier development.
  • Ensure effective quality planning throughout the entire product lifecycle—from concept and design through manufacturing, field support, and product retirement.
  • Partner with Engineering to improve Design for Quality (DfQ), Design for Manufacturability (DfM), and Design Validation processes.
  • Lead internal and external audits and represent the company during customer, certification, and regulatory audits.
  • Drive reliability engineering initiatives, failure analysis, and lessons-learned processes.
  • Develop product quality metrics and establish predictive quality monitoring systems.
  • Collaborate with Customer Support to improve customer satisfaction through structured feedback loops and field quality improvements.
  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing quality teams across multiple locations.
  • Foster a company-wide culture where quality is everyone's responsibility.

What you bring to the team:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Quality Management within aerospace, defense, automotive, electronics, or another high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Significant experience leading Quality organizations in complex manufacturing businesses.
  • Deep knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 19011, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, CAPA, AQAP, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing, mechanical assembly, and complex system integration.
  • Proven experience with supplier quality management and international supplier development.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives.
  • Experience managing quality during rapid organizational growth and production scaling.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using quality data to drive business decisions.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Fluent English is required; Ukrainian is an advantage.

Nice to have:

  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), or equivalent certifications.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt.
  • Experience within UAV, aerospace, robotics, defense, or advanced manufacturing industries.
  • Experience working in international, cross-functional organizations.
  • Knowledge of software quality processes and systems engineering.

Descripción:

Apoyar al área de Procesos de Negocio en el análisis, diseño, documentación y mejora de procesos operativos, asegurando que las iniciativas del área se ejecuten de forma ordenada, clara y alineada a las necesidades del negocio.

El rol tiene un fuerte componente operativo, pero también requiere criterio para proponer mejoras, priorizar iniciativas y servir como punto de conexión entre negocio, operaciones y tecnología.

Responsabilidades principales:

1. Análisis y documentación de procesos

  • Levantar información con diferentes áreas internas (Operaciones, Tecnología, Cumplimiento, Legal, Comercial, Finanzas).
  • Documentar procesos actuales y futuros (As-Is / To-Be).
  • Elaborar diagramas, flujos y documentación de procesos y reglas de negocio.
  • Identificar cuellos de botella, riesgos operativos y oportunidades de mejora.

2. Diseño y creación de workflows

  • Diseñar y mantener workflows operativos para la gestión o automatización de procesos.
  • Crear y actualizar workflows en archivos JSON, incluyendo validaciones y reglas básicas.
  • Trabajar en conjunto con áreas técnicas para la implementación de estos flujos en sistemas internos.
  • Ejecutar pruebas funcionales y asegurar el correcto funcionamiento de los workflows.
  • Documentar la lógica y reglas de cada flujo.

3. Gestión y seguimiento de iniciativas

  • Dar seguimiento a planes de trabajo, tareas y pendientes del área.
  • Coordinar reuniones, preparar minutas y dar seguimiento a acuerdos.
  • Identificar dependencias con otras áreas y alertar riesgos o bloqueos.
  • Apoyar en la priorización de iniciativas de acuerdo con impacto y esfuerzo.

4. Gestión de procesos y mejora continua

  • Tratar los procesos y workflows como activos vivos del negocio, sujetos a mejora constante.
  • Proponer ajustes o mejoras con base en la operación diaria y necesidades del negocio.
  • Traducir requerimientos del negocio en definiciones claras para su implementación.
  • Dar seguimiento a cambios y asegurar que los procesos cumplan con el objetivo para el que fueron diseñados.

5. Análisis operativo y preparación de entregables

  • Analizar información relacionada con procesos, indicadores operativos y desempeño de flujos.
  • Preparar reportes, presentaciones y resúmenes ejecutivos para la gerencia.
  • Mantener control documental de las iniciativas del área.

6. Soporte operativo y colaboración transversal

  • Administrar repositorios, controles y documentación del área.
  • Colaborar con distintas áreas en temas relacionados con procesos y operación.
  • Asegurar alineación entre procesos, sistemas y requerimientos internos o regulatorios.

Competencias técnicas

  • Conocimientos en análisis y rediseño de procesos (BPM).
  • Experiencia en modelado de workflows y manejo de estructuras JSON.
  • Conocimientos básicos de automatización de procesos o flujos operativos.
  • Capacidad para entender requerimientos funcionales y llevarlos a procesos claros.
  • Manejo intermedio de Excel, PowerPoint, Word y herramientas de diagramación.
  • Deseable: nociones básicas de APIs, lógica condicional o integraciones.
  • Deseable: experiencia o familiaridad con la industria de pagos, fintech o servicios financieros.
